antiaircraft
Firefox 2 vs. Internet Explorer 7 I prefer Firefox mainly because it takes a lot less RAM than Internet Explorer.
Guest Trace
Plus, Firefox is safer and it includes a popup blocker... and an ad blocker.

antiaircraft
Plus, Firefox is safer and it includes a popup blocker... and an ad blocker. IE7 has a popup blocker, but not an ad blocker. Firefox has a much better add-on facility - e.g., in IE7, you have to manually check for updates for each add-on o_O .
Guest Trace
I wouldn't know, I don't use IE7.
.Dan.
I can't remember the last time I updated IE.
Myriad
Yeah! I have IE7 I think. It's really annoying when ads come up. :S
Guest Trace
goto Firefox.com and download firefox, hardly any popups (except for those very few that make it passed the built in blocker) and the tabs are easier to control. Did I mention you can also add a whole bunch of add-ons too? Like this weather thing I have running. And, of course, adblock...
antiaircraft
For Firefox 2.0: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ For Firefox add-ons: https://addons.mozilla.org/
Ellie_Penguin
Well I use a windows pop-up blocker or something, but it does block EVERY ad XD.
antiaircraft
Just about the only thing about IE7 that beats Firefox is its thumbnail viewer.
rebsigetsi
Right, this is really off topic, but this is an off topic boad, right? This is so like, amazing! Well, it is rather unfortunate too, for some people. I live in Wales, The small county on the west coast, yeah? Well, I live in quite a nice village, which is quite big, come to think of it. Anyway, at about 1:00 this morning, a tornado attcked us! And things like that never happen in Europe! And Britain never gets Tornados, (but there have been a few over the years) But a tornado! In our village! Woah. It was only a small one though. It was measured at about 3, (3 what, I don't know) But it was strong enough to rip the roofs off some houses, about 20, it is thought, and knock down chimneys, tear down fences, and caravans were moved. Som parts were quite funny though. For example, there's a place that sells cars, and they have like a portable cabin things there. It got blown away, and the police still haven't found it! And you could see people walking up into the fields, to see if that bit of wood came off their roof. It happened more in the bottom end of the village, and luckily, I live just above the centre of the village, so we were safe, just about. A small garden wall got knocked over by the wind, and there was all sorts of junk in our garden and the fields behind. And I am sooooo annoyed! I slept through it all! The time something really exciting happens, I sleep through it. Typical!!! But it was the best nights sleep I'd had in ages. Lol.
