̊ ˉˉ ̊
I'm not even sure what "last time" you two are referring to ;)
Unstream
Haha yeah I was thinking the same thing. Though I do like blueberries. *noms*
Revenge
The last time we had a random celebration! We're doing it for CC's non-incorrectness. There's gonna be blueberries! *shoves blueberries* Love them! OR ELSE! :evil_notsmiling:
livvy
Neither do we, I believe. :P *noms a few blueberries*
ΩCCΩ
Blueberries are sold here...I think, if you count 10 blueberries in fancy packaging and a really high price as being sold here. Plus, it sold like this all year round. I have never eaten one though....
livvy
You've never eaten a blueberry? How sad! :O We pick blueberries every summer. It's enjoyable, though fairly hot unless there's a good breeze blowing.
Revenge
You did it again! What's up with that? Slow computer?
livvy
I remember when my computer did that! I was afraid the mods would eat me for my double posting. :guiltysmiley: But they didn't. EDIT: Hi Brittany! (Or was it Brittney? I have forgotten. :eh: )
Unstream
:O CC, you've never eaten a blueberry before?? I love blueberries, but I don't eat them that often cause according to my parents they're too expensive. Yeah I used to do that too, but only once or twice. Revenge
They are? Had no idea. To me they were like "underdog" fruits 'cause they're always delicious but very rarely eaten. I wish I had blueberry pie more often. We only get apple because my dad likes apple and I hate apple pie! :(
livvy
Blueberries are pretty expensive if you buy them from a store. As CC said, it's like 10 blueberries and 40 blueberries worth of packaging. Quite ridiculous.
Revenge
So grow a blueberry bush, huh? Too bad nothing ever grows here but weeds. I look forward to the weeds, too, at least it brings some color to the front yard. :( Like everything we try to dies.
̊ ˉˉ ̊
maybe it has something to do with poor soil quality? you could try to start growing some stuff in large pots with quality manure.
Revenge
No, no, even pots don't work. It's us. Nobody here gives enough time into taking care of the plants. I'm the only one who notices and doesn't forget all about them after a couple days. And I usually don't have time to be the only carer. It's sad. livvy
Aww. =[ We grow tomatoes. They're pretty good, I guess, except that I hate tomatoes. We tried blueberries one year, but it didn't work out too well. =\
̊ ˉˉ ̊
hmm, maybe try growing some desert plants? those generally require less care to thrive.
livvy
But you can't eat a cactus. I mean, you can, but... it's not like having a blueberry bush.
Revenge
I like cacti. I know people who own some. Maybe. Sometimes it's just the having plants that's good enough.
̊ ˉˉ ̊
I'd suggest growing some of this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloe_vera it's low maintenance, & if you get burned, It's quite good at soothing the burning pain.
Revenge
Yeah, they have that too. Even borrowed some paste. My dog was biting himself and we needed it help the outer-skinless parts.
livvy
How do you use not-yet-processed aloe? I've always wanted to try it, but I'm not quite sure how.
̊ ˉˉ ̊
How do you use not-yet-processed aloe? I've always wanted to try it, but I'm not quite sure how.you break off a part of the plant, then break that in half to open it up. Inside there's some gooey stuff, you put that on a burn & It helps quite a bit. (& the rest of the plant will be fine afterward)
Revenge
You use it on cuts too. And apparently it tastes pretty good.
