Aw that stinks. I hope you get better soon!

Y'know how they say chicken soup helps when your sick? My question is, how?

Posted

Because you think it's going to help, so it does. That's how a lot of stuff works, actually. Like sugar for hiccups.

HI REVENGE!! We now have all the makings of a truly random post-a-thon!

Posted

Lol I guess. I've heard about those kind of medicines before. I was just wondering if there was some special chemical in them that helped. I've never heard of sugar for hiccups though.

Hi Revenge! Haven't caught you on the boards for a while.

Me thinks not. I still want to work on some things on FL. Maybe when I'm done fully exploring it. Which will probably take a couple weeks.

My toe is fine today. Nothing interesting happened...

Rawr. I'll be back...

Posted

Oh. Um, okay...

No, I'm pretty sure it works just like placebos (I think that's what you're thinking of.) Just helps because you think it will.

Revenge what's FL?

Lol I read this one medicine that said "Take 8 times daily with a whole cup of water to avoid dehydration" xD

Posted

Haha, yes, I suppose that would prevent dehydration XP

There's this weight loss thing that costs a ton of money, and in the instructions for the medicine, it says it only works when combined with *insert healthy diet here*. I have a feeling the real way it works is people think "Well I'm paying all this money for this, so I better eat what it tells me to so I get my money's worth."

Lol that's hilarious.

Talking of useless items, I want to try and sell a harmonica tuner and see if anyone ever buys it :P

Posted

How many people actually have harmonicas...?

You should! I'll help you advertise with my amazing Word-and-Photoshop skillz! :P

Posted

Haha Welcome to Will and Livvy's Harmonica Tuning World! Where all of your harmonica tuning needs are met. (Please note products may or may not do anything)

Posted

That's okay Revenge! You don't actually have to have something to say in order to say something. :P

Posted

Exactly! Here's an example post you could do to say nothing whilst saying something!:

"I'm posting because I want to raise my post count."

Posted

Thanks Katy, to both of those ^_^

Of course, you could always give more and more examples of how to say nothing while saying something

Posted

Oh goodness! Happy birthday, Will! :)

Hey everyone. It's cold, wet, and icky today. Glad my tutor cancelled on me today. He's sick. :(

Posted

So I was thinking of something to put in this post to make it meaningful.

I couldn't come up with anything :P
