Viridian
Ticket has been closed. Your account has been frozen for scamming other users. This can include posting off-site scam links, having misleading or manipulative trade lots, Neositting, making people buy items from your shop to be your Neofriend, promising users items for buying something from you, split trades, offering to go on another user's account for ANY reason to help them, giving away your account, and illegal pet trading. Taking advantage of another user in any way is considered scamming. Because you have violated our Terms and Conditions we cannot return your account, Neopets, items or anything else contained within that account. You can review our terms and chat policies here: (http://www.neopets.com/terms.phtml and here: http://www.neopets.com/chatrules.phtml). Alice W., The Neopets Team ---- Why? Why an automated message after 3 weeks? No explanation, no examples etc. I'm going to resubmit a ticket, this is horrible :sad01_anim:
Noog
giving away your account, Taking advantage of another user in any way is considered scamming. I think that you're not supposed to give or accept things in account giveaways.
Viridian
I did not give away my account. It was more of a gift anyway, is even that scamming these days? I did not 'take advantage' of Michael, since that would mean that he would feel robbed by me. Instead he feels horrible these days for 'taking' my account from me, which is sad to see. Noog
I completely get your side, and your account shouldn't have been taken away. I'm just trying to put together a reason why tnt would ice you. :/
Jacky
I think I missed what happened, but I'm sorry this happened to you. :( I hope things get solved, though it really does look to me like TNT is gonna put their foot down. It never hurts to try though.
lils
oh man, that really sucks. but i can see why from both point of view, so i really don't think TNT will budge =/
Lozzie
Whilst I understand where you're coming from, "Taking advantage of another user in any way is considered scamming." - you were not trying to take advantage of anyone, merely giving them aid. However, if someone was to gain posession of another person's account against the rules and against the rightful ownerof that account's permission, they could easily say "but over an instant messenger/ contact outside of neopets, they said they'd give me their account and gave me their password", in order to dodge the bullet. I think TNT has this rule in place to keep account owners safe and more secure, and it was already there in the rules to begin with. I think the best thing to know in the future is that any account you make is yours and yours alone; you may give away your items/adopt out pets, but that account must stay with you, even though your intention is to leave neopets. Afterall you never know, you could someday get the urge to come back and play again. I know I did. ^_^

Angeló
oh .. something this horrible should never happen to someone sweet as you ...... I never got access to his account (or he to mine, for that matter). I simply received his NP through trades, because he thought I could make more use of it. Ah I see; that wasn't clearly explained in the topic so my mistake. God knows how neopets defines this as breaking the rules; this isn't the first time I've heard of this happening to someone! All I can suggest is seeing if there's a phoneline so you can contact them directly. Submitting tickets seems to be of little to no use, unless you plan on waiting for months for another automated message. :(
Viridian
Not sure if calling to the USA is worth my money, but then again I'm pretty sure that live helplines are only there for those with premium.. Thanks for the suggestion anyway :)
