Tried all water plant combos x3 already - any other options?

I know there are tons of posts already about the water plant part of the plot... but I have gone through every single combination 3 times already with no luck.

 

I first went through all the combos in the order suggested on the TDN guide TWICE.

 

I also went through the combos according to the SunnyNeo guide and checked off all the boxes in the checklist.

 

After going through the combos THREE times, I tried the refresh method, opening 8 windows with links to each wheel/level and tried that.

 

I also tried the method to flood altador and immediately switch all the wheels/levers.

 

I am just wondering if there is another possible reason why this isn't working for me, not just that "I missed a combo" because I've gone through them all carefully 3 times by now. My account is new, so does this have something to do with it? I'm just at a loss for what to do next... is there anything I haven't tried yet, or something I've overlooked?

what i did was i opened every page in a separate tab then went and refreshed every page one after another it eventually gave me the stop messing with the plant page

Wow, I am in the exact same situation! Tried it 3 times too, carefully yes, used both Daily Neopets and SunnyNeo. It's not working at all!

 

Wow, okay, it finally worked! Just now I was clicking around, trying to fill all the buckets, and FINALLY it worked!!! I don't know what I did differently except that I redid the steps to Part 13.

What steps did you redo? I tried revisiting the farm and the necklace room before repeating the combos but it still didn't seem to work =/

Huh? That works? LOL... I remember when I was doing this plot step, my first ten tries got me the solution! Good luck... Just be patient and don't get frustrated. Make sure to be diligent and to work assiduously.
