Welcome Back Apathy Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 This week's random contest: make a Neopian-themed pizza! So I figured, I had copious amounts of free time today, so I decided to enter. I thought of an awesome idea and tried to enact it. ...Anyone else find out that they are terrible at this sort of thing? :D I'd like to share my picture with you in a little while, but it's a public forum, and I don't want my idea to get stolen. I'll post it in a few days. XD My idea was awesome...but the toppings kind of sank into the cheese, so after I finished baking it, I had to take off the old toppings and replace them. It ended up not looking too good, but I gave it a good background, name, and description. Quote

I really hope you win ^_^ Once I made something for the random contest, but I didn't realise I had so send it in before Friday, so I was to late, although I had everything finished D: I was very sad and angry, because there weren't even runner-up that round, I think I could have made it. So now I'll join again if I see a round that I like, but I don't fancy making a pizza. I'll wait for a next round. Quote

Also, I may have given a little TOO much information. I told them exactly what I did, including my screw-ups and how I fixed them... ...I'm having that "SHOOT, WHAT DID I SAY?" moment, like the one after you talk to someone's answering machine and over-analyze it making sure you did everything right. ...You can't tell me I'm the only one who does that. eel Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I poked around a bit and I didn't see anything about a word limit in the description, so I think you're good. According to an article in the Neopian Times, the description should talk about the materials you used and the time you spent on the project, and only the judges see it. So hopefully they'll be impressed by all the effort you put in. x) I'm looking forward to seeing a picture of it. (And you are definitely not the only person who has "oh no what did I say" moments. :P If only real life had an edit button...) Quote

The little blurb that shows up below a winning entry is the description for that entry. They don't always post them, but just in case they do I try to keep my descriptions shorter than I used to. Those pizzas look delicious! I love the meerca chase idea, one of my favorite games. :) Quote
