What are your thoughts on Guilds?

I'm in a guild, but sometimes I wonder why I bother since the active participation is so low. I understand real life may get in the way, but a post now and then would be fine. Then I feel guilty when I think that... It's especially hard when you prepare activities specifically for your guild, but hardly anyone participates :crying_blow:

Personally, I think it really depends on the guild. I've gotten involved in certain guilds before and really regretted joining, there was so much drama and inactivity. But my current guild is amazing and welcoming, so I think I'll stick around. Anyways, usually guilds with more experienced leaders/council members, with decent layouts and a high message board post count are the ones to look out for. ^_^

I was into guilds when I played Neopets as a kid, but now not so much. It's way too hard to find one with active, cool people. I don't go on the boards either, and I only NM close friends very rarely (texting is easier P:) and about trades. Really, TDN is the only place I actually communicate about Neopets... lol.

I'm not in a guild. I've been in a few, but none of the ones I've been in, were interesting... I just don't like them. I'd rather go and talk here! ^_^

I think if I would be in a guild I would like them. But I can't get myself to look for a good one :>

So I don't really care about it at all.
