musicsquared
Okay, honestly? So someone was lending Chokato free which is super nice of them; it's their card and they can do whatever they want with it. Don't get me wrong. I gave her a free bump and I wasn't gonna try for it cause I only have 175 avs. But then I noticed that she lent someone who had less than 150 avs, so I was like gee might as well try. So the board goes on for like 20something pages, and she's lending people left and right. People with no collat, someone with only FOUR avatars, & ppl who typez like this. I was wondering what in the world was going on and why she would lend to someone with 4 avatars yet pass over my application. Then I realized that it honestly is all about who you know. Like, one of her friends vouched for some unreliable person who I wouldn't even lend an evil fuzzle to and she was like OMG OF COURSE~ *send chokato* I'm just so annoyed because I stuck around for 20+ pages doing everything she said to do and didn't get lent, yet someone who jumped in on page 19 with 4 avatars got lent. And yes the person with 4 avatars was most likely rebuilding, but wouldn't you at least get the clickables first? Like, come on. And she could have at least told me she wasn't going to lend me. I was on that board for, what, an hour? But then again no one was forcing me to stay so I guess I can't really complain. At her very last lend she announced that there was one more person, and I figured it had to be me because there was like no one else still there. But one of her friends was like "I can vouch for ____" so she lent that person instead. Normally I wouldn't expect or even ask to get lent Chokato with less than 200 avatars, but I got my hopes up for nothing and refreshed for 20 pages and omg I'm so annoyed right now. I never thought people on Neopets would be this cliquey LOL. Okay, I'm not mad anymore. -rant over-
Emily
Awww. I'm sorry that you stuck around all that time for nothing. I'm thinking it was friends hanging out to get the avvie, but she could have specified that on the board so at least others wouldn't have tried for so long unnecessarily. Chokato lenders seem to be more generous than some other lenders (sometimes of cheaper items). I randomly got lent it for free on my old main after inquiring about the collat, telling them I didn't have enough and thanks for the time. She then sent it to me without asking any further questions. I was stunned. The second time, I used TDN's ALP. Good luck with the lend. Check out the ALP if you haven't already. Yeah, it was probably that /: That's true about the generosity thing! I got lend codestones or something a long time ago and the person requested 80k collat even though I'm pretty sure they're not even worth that much, and a lot of chokato lenders don't even require collat ^^ It's amazing that they just sent it to you like that! I've checked the ALP and they have pretty strict requirements and require a lot of collat. I don't expect to be lent for free by any means, but a lot of the time AC lenders will lend you free/reduced collat if your account looks trustworthy enough (:
