Have problem with transfer pet

I just send a pet to a friend it cost 1000np

 

when my friend accept it he has to pay 2,390 to me, the system make him do so

 

but why i didnt get the 2390 np???

To be honest, it's the Neopian Pound that gets the 2390 Neopoints the other person had to pay for your pet if I'm not mistaken.

The person accepting still has to pay the adoption fee, same as if they adopted straight from the pound. The 1000 NP you paid was the fee to use the safe transfer.

This is true and you can think about it this way too: if you were paid directly for the transfer, it could be considered buying a pet.... which is a freezable offense.
