I've been playing Neopets on and off for about 8 years, and just started playing my old account again a few weeks ago (it was close enough to starting from scratch again... pretty much all I had left on that account was access to both the lab rays). TDN helped me catch up with all the changes that occurred while I was busy with other things, and now I finally decided to stop lurking and sign up. :) Classes are due to start again on Wednesday, but I'm sure I'll be around, procrastinating. The more the merrier. :) Computer science is basically making software that does cool stuff.
