Spritzie Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Fairytale - Sara Bareilles :laughingsmiley: Saxophones are loud. Especially tenor. (that's what I played.) My sister hated when I practiced. Quote
Sofa Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 They are insanely loud...in the summer she would play in the conservatory and you could hear her when you were walking up the ginnel that was several gardens over, lol. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Morningside - Sara Bareilles I love new CDs. :D Which type is she playing? Quote
Wembly Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Louder than words from tick tick boom. Thank you youtube because these people sound better than the ones from the broadway cd. Quote
Sofa Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I think it's an alto sax, though I'm not entirely sure, oops. She's stopped now thankfully, so I'm listening to Josh Groban's 'Hidden Away' without background honking, heh. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Bottle It Up - Sara Bareilles Those are really squeaky, I think. That's why I played the tenor. It was lower pitched. Quote
Sofa Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 It might be Tenor then cause it's not particularly high pitched, I'll have to find out. I've been Spotify-ing all the artists people have been posting here that they're listening to here, it's quite fun, just found Love Song by Sara Bareilles...had heard the song and liked but didn't know who on earth it was, hehe! Quote
Spritzie Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Vegas - Sara Bareilles I started listening to her when I heard her new song, King of Anything. You can also tell what sax it is by side, the alto is fairly small, soprano it straight like a clarinet, tenor is quite big, and the baritone is HUGE. Quote
Parry Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2007 Top stuff as usual :D The Gothic Detectives really should return soon xD Quote
