antiaircraft Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Jimmy Carter by 20lb Sounds (you can get it here - yay for Creative Commons!) Dan Lynch is a pretty cool guy. His music is great too. Quote
livvy Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Surprisingly little, actually. The library is actually quiet today. Though there is the general clacking of keyboard keys and hum of a few people studying together. Rather peaceful. :) Quote
antiaircraft Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I'm listening to the most recent CC Hits weekly show. They seem to have a lot of my favourite tracks this week for some reason. Quote

livvy Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 General hum of a just silenced class of trouble-makers. I hate 5th period. Quote
chubit Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Harry Potter and the halfblood prince - I've had it on in the background for the past hour. :laughingsmiley: Quote

livvy Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 A scene from Count Dracula, played... decently. This is the good drama class. Quote
Spritzie Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Halfway Gone - Lifehouse I must say this is one of my favorite songs ever. Quote
jesse_rocket Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 The Doctor singing some operaz on Voyager in that one episode where there were those academic aliens who didn't know how to music, and then the Doctor is all famous and arrogant and then the aliens replace him with a "better" singer program and they're all like "YAY WE DON'T NEED THE OLD ONE ANYMORE" and he learns an important lesson about being all famous and arrogance but the real victory is his all along because he's got electronic SOUL, BABY, and Seven of Nine still appreciates him. Clearly while I've been typing all this, the episode finished. So now it's the Voyager theme music. Quote
Quark Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 The Case For Mars from Symphony of Science *fist bump* I love driving listening to Symphony of Science. Carl Sagan's infectious voice should be my GPS. <3 <3 Listening to "No Quarter" by Led Zeppelin. This song has one of my favorite guitar riffs, by far. Oh, Jimmy Page. Quote
Spritzie Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 It Is What It Is - Lifehouse This song has such pretty lyrics. Quote
Quark Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 "Alicia" by Emilie Simon. Everything sounds better in French. Why can't I sing in French? Quote
jesse_rocket Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Ooh I love Emilie Simon. You are correct, French music is awesome (I'm Britsh and live only about 30 miles from France, so it's a pretty big thing for me to admit everything French isn't the WORST THING EVER), I even fairly enjoy French rap, and I do not like rap in general. Currently listening to- Apocalyptica (feat. Til Lindemann) - Helden Quote
Masaryk Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Both Symphony of Science and Apocalyptica are very amazing. I'm listening to Stinkfist, by Tool. Quote
Tyler. Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 That sounds interesting. What type of music is that? It's metalcore xD not something it seems like you'd enjoy Nobody Don't Dance no more-Asking Alexandria Quote
Spritzie Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 It Is What It Is - Lifehouse It's metalcore xD not something it seems like you'd enjoy Oh. Yeah, definitely not my type of music. I'll have to look up the lyrics though. Quote
Quark Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Iron & Wine "Serpent Charmer". Love the rhythm to this song. Plus, it has some of the most lovely lyrics sung in such a haunting whisper. "There's a woman hater with a broken record player And a dusty compass out to map the country's new behavior Strange words and we all roll back into the river With brave boys and the empty coats of men." Quote
Tyler. Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Don't Go-Bring Me The Horizon feat. Lights I get a lot of crap for liking this band Quote
