-Ryan Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 The man who can't be moved by The Script This is the first song I heard by them. Quote
Noog Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I'm messing around with Audacity. I got the vocals out of Come Together by The Beatles, but I can't get them out of The Catalyst by Linkin Park. The Catalyst has SO MANY layers of vocals. XD It'd be crazy amazing if you could manage to get them out. Solidarity - Enter Shikari Quote
livvy Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Ocean and Atlantic - Mayday Parade Decent for background music, but only because I've heard it several dozen times over the past week or so. Quote
-Ryan Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Breakeven by The Script Awesome song. One of my favourites by them. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Light It Up by Rev Theory. The Catalyst has SO MANY layers of vocals. XD It'd be crazy amazing if you could manage to get them out. It would. I got the beginning out. But when Chester sings it's completely there. I got half a mind to upload my failure. In fact, I will. Hang on. Quote
Luciana Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 While You Wait For The Others by Grizzly Bear Great. I don't know how else to describe it. Quote
-Ryan Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Rusty Halo by The Script 6/11 Getting closer to the end of this CD. :O Quote
Noog Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Ocean and Atlantic - Mayday Parade Decent for background music, but only because I've heard it several dozen times over the past week or so. More like FLIPPIN' FANTASTIC for background music :O It would. I got the beginning out. But when Chester sings it's completely there. I got half a mind to upload my failure. In fact, I will. Hang on. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Chester's vocals have their own layers on the catalyst which is for effect. Does LP still have their old rapper/vocalist from the Faint/Numb days? I can't tell from the catalyst. Still listening to Solidarity :) Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Once again toying with Audacity. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Chester's vocals have their own layers on the catalyst which is for effect. Does LP still have their old rapper/vocalist from the Faint/Numb days? I can't tell from the catalyst. When you hear the actual song, you can tell he has layers in his singing. And yes, Mike is still there. You can't hear him in The Catalyst. But he is in A Thousand Suns. You hear him in: When They Come For Me (BEWARE: There's language in it) Waiting For the End Wretches and Kings and a couple other songs I can't think of right now. Quote
Luciana Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 The High Road by Broken Bells Just discovered them. Hope the rest of their songs are as good. Quote
-Ryan Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Fall for Anything by The Script. Forgot to post the song before this which was The End Where I begin. Quote
Noog Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 When you hear the actual song, you can tell he has layers in his singing. And yes, Mike is still there. You can't hear him in The Catalyst. Yeah, you can tell that there's layers, but it makes it sound more epic :P But Mike isn't the one saying "God bless us everyone....." and "lift me up, let me go", right? Speed of Sound - Coldplay  Quote
-Ryan Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I love that song, CAV. :O If You See Kay by The Script Love the title of this one. Lol. Quote

Tyler. Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Outnumbered-The Devil Wears Prada this EP was epic Quote
-Ryan Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 When they come for me by Linkin Park Decided to check out some of these songs. Quote
Luciana Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Mongrel Heart by Broken Bells I love how once I log on to amazon their album shows up under "Items to consider". Oh, amazon, you know me so well. Quote
-Ryan Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 The Catalyst by Linkin Park Don't really like the music on this one... Quote
Tyler. Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Hot N Cold- Woe, Is Me (Katy Perry cover) this is epic Quote
Noog Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 The Catalyst by Linkin Park Don't really like the music on this one... I like the techno-y aspect and the "life me up let me go" part. Inspector Gadget Dubstep Remix - Chrispy EDIT:Tyler, NOT YOU TOO! D: Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 When They Come For Me by Linkin Park. But Mike isn't the one saying "God bless us everyone....." and "lift me up, let me go", right? No. That's Chester. Mike can be heard the background. But you here Chester and the others much more. Just listen to those 3 songs, and you can definately hear him. Heck, Mike is singing throughout When They Come For Me with the exception of the chorus (which reminds me of Achient Egypt) and the end where Chester steps in. I'd put the song here, but Mike delievers the F-bomb during the chorus. And I can't find a clean version. I love that song, CAV. :O What, Speed of Sound? I will cover it once I can get all the vocals out. Quote
