It's Co from the TDN AC Team, and we're back for another year of Slushie Slinging, Shooting Out, Making Noise, and... learning how to use a new format for Yooyuball? That's right, this just in, the format for the game has changed! Many are outraged, though others seem to enjoy the new format. Many think TNT will change it back as it can be quite confusing at times, but others are not so sure. In other news, Dasher Soley has finally left Krawk Island. Feldon "Dinksy" Collibridge, his replacement, is very excited to replace the famous team member. "I... YOOYU!" Someone should tell that Pirate Shoyru, that it's no Yooyu! It's Rhee Solters, a Desert Kiko is the newest addition to last years winning team, Lost Desert! Many were surprised, why change a winning team? We attempted to ask the team captain, Leera Heggle, but he was not speaking to anyone at the time. Rhee had to replace someone, and who? None other then the desert's old Kiko, Lamelle! Lamelle Turow is the newest addition to the underwater squad of Maraqua, replacing Dorina Hals, whom is reportedly out with a tail injury! Many Maraquans are outraged by this, especially since Dorina is reportedly "okay to play", whereas critics say the ex-champion could help them to the cup. Elbin Krobe has moved teams once again, joining the now green and pink team of Faerieland. Taking his place over on team Tyrannia is "Spikes" Barmie, the Tyrannian Krawk. That seems to be it for roster changes in ACVI! The staff tournament is also returning, with all 18 teams this year, so keep your eyes out for that! News will come in on Yooyuball if any changes come. But for now, this is Co, signing off!
RoboHissi
I'm really looking forward to the AC, not just because of endless YYB marathons, but because I love reading these articles. Keep doing what you're doing. :laughingsmiley:

Person335
Switchups were kind of unexpected. But I like the new Tyrannia Krawk. That eye scar makes him look cool!
Guest disciple_fan_1
I have used TDN for years for my AC coverage. That being said, I wish you guys weren't so biased towards Maraqua. It's kind of making me debate using TDN this AC or not...
Marabot 108
Are we biased toward Maraqua? The "Many Maraqua are Outraged" is a true statement, since over 200 have signed a petition. If you're referring to predictions, that was based on the possibilities of winning teams, last year's stats, and response to the team on the boards. Roxi
Yes, finally they're open! I'm off now to sign up for DC! I'm so excited for this AC. I've missed the past few cups, so it's really great to get back into it.
Guest disciple_fan_1
Are we biased toward Maraqua? The "Many Maraqua are Outraged" is a true statement, since over 200 have signed a petition. If you're referring to predictions, that was based on the possibilities of winning teams, last year's stats, and response to the team on the boards. Two Reasons: 1. There is more "praise" in Maraqua's prediction then there is reporting. I know TDN picked them to finish first, but it still seems quite bias to me. 2. Saying their Sportsmanship Exceeds Expectations. It's just not true.
Marabot 108
Well, I personally disagree, but I guess everyone's entitled to their opinion, and don't have that detail discourage you from using our site! (We do apologize for the surplus in Maraqua staffer, but do know that many of the AC staff we are hiring are very diverse, from DC, to Md, and SK to MQ!) groovyjenny
*creeps into make a quick comment* Hi! Just reading your article and you have a spelling mistake! Figured it would look more professional if it was corrected! In the first paragraph you posted, "leaning how to use a new format for Yooyuball?" Should it be learning in lieu of leaning? Just pointing it out ^^ In other news, I am very excited for the AC!! I haven't played the last couple of years, but I am rearing and ready to go this year! :D
Taylor Swift
I have used TDN for years for my AC coverage. That being said, I wish you guys weren't so biased towards Maraqua. It's kind of making me debate using TDN this AC or not... I'll explain. The AC team changed this year, so predictions are being written by a different staff member, so there might be more or less bias toward a certain team. It's impossible to be 100% objective. And no, sportsmanship for MQ is EE (Exceeds Expectations). They do not have Outstanding for a multitude of factors, but it's not Acceptable either. And in case you're wondering, I'm HBK, a former staff member. ;) Used to be in charge of AC team until the end of last summer, but I have full confidence in our current team. :)

It's great to see you around. ;) We did attempt to spread out prediction writing and editing duties among multiple staffers this year (as well as formalising a mathematical system for calculating skill ratings) to reduce the bias a little, but I suppose we'll never get it to a satisfactory level for everyone. xD

That's why I'm afraid that there could be a bit of bias towards MQ, which there looks to be a little to me, and a bit of hate towards HW, which, other than the Average for Sportsmanship, I haven't seen any problem with. Guest MoltaraPlayer
I also am excited for the AC this year. Last year I didn't play very much, no motivation at all. But this year, I'm totally going for it! I will be joining Moltara. But there's one thing that is going to be impossible for me, and that's playing the new YYB. I think it's very confusing. (Excuse me for my bad english, I'm dutch)

Azeruth
So right now, Krawk Island officially has no Krawk on it's team :( And the new Yooyuball they came out with, terrible. I can't play this new one. The old was one perfect.

antiaircraft
Believe it or not, but I actually like Lamelle. Then again, I usually stand up for the people nobody else likes :P As a long-time Maraqua supporter, I concur on that point. The amount of hate Lamelle is getting from us is really undeserved. He wasn't the one who decided that Dorina should be removed from the team, and I'm sure he's a great player worthy of the Maraquan spirit. We should at least give him a chance. :)
voteforpedro333
Believe it or not, but I actually like Lamelle. Then again, I usually stand up for the people nobody else likes :P Oh no! Where is the hate going down? Being part of LD, I could never stand for a previous LD member getting such a bad attitude. Remember that he was a great player for us and he can be a great one for you guys! It is awfully dry here in the desert, and I would much rather see Lamelle where he is more comfortable to play. Those practices out in the hot sun are hard on anyone.
