glasses04 Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Fellow Buried Treasure seekers!!! Everyday I pull one of those tickets out of the board and get NOTHING!!! (Actually, I have gotten 2k NP on occasion...) So I was wondering, what technique do you all use in an attempt to get the avatar? I've been clicking the same ticket each time hoping that will increase my chances (yeah, I know it's random!)... But would it be a better idea to just let my mouse click randomly somewhere on the board? Let me know what you think! =D Quote
Spritzie Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 My husband thinks that clicking the same place was the best, but that drove me crazy. I preferred to close my eyes, move my mouse around, and click. Not that it helped, but I did get the avatar a month or so ago. (When getting a booby prize.) Quote
inkt Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Jellyneo has a guide on it. It's not completely random. Apparently a good portion of the treasure is in a certain location and it "drifts". On the game board on Neopets, a lot of users try to narrow it down for you so it's a good idea to check those boards before clicking. Quote

I'll just keep clicking away I suppose! At 300 NP a go, I guess it isn't a huge drain on NPs... Not like Lever of Doom/Wheel of Extravagance/Kelp/etc.! Quote

I also got the avatar with a Booby Prize a few months back ... either way I still play it at least 2-3 times per day ... I just won 2k from it .. and sometimes I do get 20k :) :) Quote
