Part of my back fence came down during the day which meant there was a gap that my dog could run through. Surely enough she's gone :( She went missing yesterday and I've been worried since.

Dont give up hope! My husbans cousin lives on a giant acerage and they had an electric dog collar for their dogs. Their female dog realized that the shock would only last for a second so she broke through and was missing for over two years.

 

One day she randomly strolled back home and was waiting on the front porch for them.

I've thought about getting an electric collar to stop her running off. Any chance she gets she just bolts. If it wasn't for that she's be the perfect dog.

 

Isn't it amazing that animals can find their way home like that? I've heard of people moving interstate then having their dogs vanish only to end up back at their original house.

 

Found my dog though. She was in the pound! Going to pick her up today.
