Hey guys. I was wondering if I should trade my Faerie Paint Brush for all 9 pieces of the Secret Laboratory Map. Any advice?

Personally, that's a pretty good deal. Since the ray right now is worth more than 1 million. Other than that, if you entered the giveaway, not such a good idea now. But if not, trade and enter on a side account ;)

Honestly, I'd say buy each piece separately or a few pieces in bundles instead of the whole map together and it will save you at least 200k.

Full lab maps are about 1.1-1.2 mil and not very many split pieces are up, where as you can buy faerie paint brushes for 900k so you can trade the PB for the full set and buy another PB(if you still want the PB).

Hi Sakura. The Lab Map was revamped and the mad scientist was so happy that he's giving a chance to the 100 lucky neopians to know how to get to the lab. So if you still have no lab, you can enter and you might win... Haha

Heh, yeah. I saw the news right after posting that question. :* I entered it! Good luck to everyone else who has entered. It would be great if someone here on TDN won. And I would recommend keeping that faerie paintbrush Love TDN on the off chance that you might win the drawing. You never know!

But this is pretty big actually... 100 slots is quite a lot. Compared to the wishing well of course. This is much easier to win :)

If I were you, I'd wait until the giveaway is over. Also, I'd pay for it in NP. When the price for the Faerie PB rises again, trade it for a paintbrush you would actually like to use on your pet. :)

And how much was the Faerie Paint Brush before plot prizes came out? I already have all of the Secret Laboratory Map pieces on my main a long time ago. And I just found a piece of the Secret Laboratory Map.

Before the TFR , the FPB was for 3 Mil .. when the TFR prizes came out , it deflated to as low as 200-300k , now it's back up to about 900k .. and I'm sure it'll keep rising in price .. even if it's on a slow rate .. I would recommend buying the lab map pieces individually

This. A little patience goes a long way in the Neopets economy. In addition, I bought my lab map nearly a year ago and complete sets were about 1m then as well. But by auction sniping and getting pieces through KQ and REs, I spent less than 700k on mine :)

I spent like less than 500k to just get the full set like long time ago. And I'm trying my best to get more NP and it's hard to get NP... I need like 5 more pieces left to get another set.
