Meeptroid Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Yeah, I just searched them on Wikipedia. Quote
.Dan. Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Y'see, the pokemon are getting pretty weird-looking. Quote
Ellie_Penguin Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 which characters from the very first Pokemon series are still on the show? Quote
Awesome_Paul Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 dunno, i think all the starters are, (bulbasaur, squirtle, venusaur, charizard) and maybe some like rhydon etc, i think all the bird types like pidgey are seen flying round rather than being used by a battle etc Quote
.Dan. Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 I remeber, on the series NZ's screening, Ash and Brock are with the girl with the Torchik. Quote
Anime Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 In the Chronicles thing, yes, and in a few other eps. But I don't think she's going to be travling with them again any time soon. And I'm going to stick with my line of Fire type starters and choose Chimchar. I think my dad pre-ordered one or the other of the games. Quote
EnlightenedOne Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 isnt misty the gym leader of celrulean gym now? Quote
Anime Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Yes, she is. I know WAY too much about this topic. xD And in terms of Pokemon, they all still exist, even though they aren't native to the region, and you can evenutally catch all of them in most of the games. Plus, the show has no regard to that, having the Pokemon all mixed in. In human chacters, Ash and Brock are the most consistant, while the others still exist, they're less seen. Quote
Ellie_Penguin Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 is there a website where they have a full list of Pokemons? I remember one where they have with their evolutions and all, but I can't find it! Quote
EnlightenedOne Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 they should make anuther pokemon game for the Gameboy advance. im too poor to afford a DS... Quote
Anime Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Serebii is one of the best sites for that, Ellie. And the DS way is more organized, and eaiser to use, so they'll be making them only for that now. Tough luck. Quote
Mini-Chan Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 i liked the old pokemon, like the very first ones the best :] Quote
Anime Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 A lot of the origionals are very cool, but there's just no denying some of them. Like Pachirisu! Quote
Mini-Chan Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 haha thats true :] but pikachu shall remain my #1 Quote
Tsukiakage Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 That's not an easy question. I thought almost all of the original Pokémon were great and cute in one way or another. I would have to say my very favorite is Ponyta and his/her evolution, Rapidash. Though, I do love Mew, Vulpix, Ninetail, Dratini, Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon. Oh! I almost forgot Pikachu! Everyone loves Pikachu. ^_~ It's been forever since I have played Pokémon though. I still have the games though. I should get those out again sometime! Quote

And I'm going to stick with my line of Fire type starters and choose Chimchar. I think my dad pre-ordered one or the other of the games. At first, I usually chose fire Pokemon as my starters, but then I began to turn my attention towards grass type. Mainly because most of them resemble reptiles. (Bulbasaur has a dinosaur thing going on.) Quote
.Dan. Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Apparently each of the originals had their own advantages, like Squirtle was good for the beginners, and Charizard was hard to level up. Quote

Meh... <_< There's no shame in knowing a lot about Pokemon! I used to be quite the avid fan of Pokemon. I just stopped watching the show when the first season was over. ^^;; I really like the first season and all the games (aside from Hey You! Pikachu!). I'm not a huge fan of the newer TV series. My favorites, as listed in my other post somewhere in this thread are all from the original series/games. Quote
yasha Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I know this thread is super old..... but I love charizard. Though I think most of the reason why I do like him is because of the way ash's Charizard behaved. I think it was kinda cool how ash had to prove himself first to charizard, and ever since he's always been loyal to ash. Quote
missmadiemay Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Lol wow, you just bumped a threat that is 7 years old! On that note, I don't have a favorite, but did anyone ever play Pokemon Snap on the N64? Haha I miss that game. Quote
rinoa812 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Lol my favorite pokemon are 1. Dragonair 2. Ampharos 3. Umbreon because they are so pretty =P Quote
