I think my account has been... 'Compromised'? :(

Yes, I'm saying 'Compromised' instead of Hacked/Scammed/Etc. Because, I have no idea what actually happened, and I honestly don't know the difference between a Hack, and a Scam.. :O

So I wouldn't have any idea what to call it...

 

Let's just say I can't access my account, and there's some 'Fishy' activity going on? :(

 

I logged on this morning (It's Around 9.30am here, at the time of posting.) hoping that I could get some quick dailies done before I left for school, and. It logged me out?

And Once I was logged out, I couldn't log back in?

Even though I'm sure the login Information I entered was 100% correct!

 

So, I logged into my side account, to see what was going on.

And, On My main account, there were a whole load of trades up on the trading post, and I'm sure I never put them up? D:

And my Usul, Me_e, Her White Ona was Taken off her?

Now she's... Petpetless.

 

I'm still a little in shock about this :(

Is there someone in my account?

 

What can I do? D:

 

I'm just happy I have a Pin Number on my bank, and also one on pounding my pets :(

But, Everything else doesn't have a pin.

My Shop, SDB, Removing Petpets, etc...

 

Considering I can't access the account, How do I send in a Ticket?

Can I send one from my side account? :O

Do send a ticket from your side account as soon as possible, retelling the story you just wrote here. You will also want to change your email password (and secret question) as soon as possible in case it is compromised.

I just wasn't sure if I was allowed to from my side account.

I'm still a little 'iffy' about what I can, and can't do on my side.

 

And, I don't think they'd be able to compromise my account through my email.

TNT said that because I'm under thirteen there isn't actually an Email attached to my account :(

Yes, you can send a ticket from your side account. Most likely, though, you will end up being locked out of it "for your safety" by TNT.... At least until they resolve the issue. Which, to be honest, unfortunately, may be never. If you DO regain access to your account, be sure to put a pin on EVERYTHING. YES, it's sometimes annoying, but it's worth it.

I sent in a Ticket, now :)

I hope this gets fixed soon!

I wonder if they'll be able to return my NeoCash items, If they get taken. :(

I spent my whole weeks pocket money on that!

Even though I only brought 500NC, that's still a lot to waste...

 

Now none of my Pets have Petpets, and their customization is all gone!

I have to leave for school now :(

But I'll be sure to come straight online after school finishes!

How long does it normally take TNT to respond to tickets? :(

I'm sure they'll believe that the account is mine, I even put in screenies and all of Random Events and things I had recieved lately!

 

As soon as I get my account back (If I do...) I'm definitely going to add PINS to everything :)

Hopefully nothing like this ever happens again...

I'm missing my pets already!

I had an experience with an account compromiser before too (still no idea how he gained access, either). I learned from that to put PINs on everything, no matter how extremely annoying that still is (pin on SDB, grr):P Make sure to protect your side accounts that way too.

 

For account issues, TNT will usually reply quicker than in 2 weeks time, since it is of more importance. They will freeze your main account for security and you can unfreeze it by answering questions :)

Every day that I'm away from my account, is another day I have to Catch-Up on the Daily Dare!

 

Either that or...

Is it too much to hope that whoever is in my account, would do the Daily dare for me? x3
