On a neopets page (http://www.neopets.com/newfeatures.phtml?arr=2001-09-10) it says: 12th September * Deckball now gives out Dubloons if you get over 5 goals in the survival mode, or 350 points in the timed mode. We find that if you dont continually keep your finger on forward, but take it slow and hope the opponent hits his own goal, its easier to win :) I'm guessing this hasn't changed, but haven't tried it myself. I think the best way is to buy them. I only used them to get the avatar at the swashbuckling academy and let Colzan's Shrine increase my pet's stats. Apparently Black Pawkeet Slots gives them out too, but it seems to me you have to invest a lot of np in that game to get good stuff from it.

grass_tiger Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I've tried these times numerous times and it has rarely been even close (off more than even just a few minutes either way could explain). I've heard that it used to be true, but that now it is randomized. Don't know, that's just what I've heard and my experience seems to line up with that.

webpixie Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 you can win dubloons at black pawkeetslots but oyu have to bet max bet and get atleast 3 treasure chests, at which time you pick diffrent chests as a mini game and have a chance to get one.. if you need one just go buy one, heh. also its usually cheeper to buy higher valued dubloons and then goto the restraunt on krawk island and spend them on food to break them into peices, just make sure afterwords to put your smaller coins into your deposit box so you have to pay with your higher valued dubloons.
