Kazedo
Alot of the idea behind Neopets is the ability to customize your pet, at least nowdays, from my understanding, you werent always able to customize your pet. So why do you like your Unconverted Neopet? Do you have other pets you like to customize? Do you skip customization all together? Curious to the responses here. I happen to like buying little items for my pets. :P So far I only dressed up two. I had 3 that had backgrounds/clothes/etc, but ended up moving one to my side, so I kept all his stuff for my others for now. Haha.
Wembly
The ability to customize is actually one of the reasons I came back to neopets. There were too many items that didn't really have much of a purpose before customization in my opinion, so clearly, I enjoy my new neopets and don't have any UC. I will agree with people that some of the poses of the UC pets are much nicer than the current ones but personally, I don't think that makes it worth it to not be able to dress them up. Kazedo
Yeah, I like some of the UC pet looks compared to the 'new' ones, but the fact that I cant do anything with them (like put clothes on them, etc) makes them not worth the trade off, IMO. Izzy ♥
You can still customise UC pets... with backgrounds, trinkets, showers, etc! Just not with actual *clothes*. I love my UC Dari Kougra because he was a dream I had from before the changeover ^_^ Same with the UC Dari Draik I hope to be able to trade for one day. I have other pets that I love to customise completely - but that doesn't mean I don't greatly prefer the art on some of the UC pets.
Kuroida
I don't have a UC pet but I love the UC MSP poogle pose. It doesn't matter that I can't dress it up. Why would I want to cover its awesome looks anyways? :P The current poogle I find lame. To me it's just a plushie yellow poogle. It's just not special enough if it doesn't stand up on two legs and have pointy ears. o.
flyingeevee
I don't have any UC pets either but I kinda wished I still had my Spotted Xweetok before they converted every other pet to be customized...the xweetoks' pose when I first started neopets was the main reason a xweetok was my first neopet ever! ^My xweetok before the conversion... Even the faerie xwees used to be more "elegant" and when I saw the converted reason...I didn't want a faerie xwee anymore. Still just wished they gave me the option for my spotted xwee. Either way I love dressing her up now ^_^
Kazedo
Since obviously the UC's are still avail, it wouldnt be a bad idea of TNT gave you the option when painting/morphing to be a UC or a 'new' pet. Its not like it would hurt the sales of potions and such. (Maybe clothes, but not really since those people would run around trading stuff for the UC they want anyhow. Haha)
wafflo
I like UC's cause a lot of them not saying all of them was better drawed, the newer designs are just for the purpose of clothing, pushing ppl to the mall and spend real money on a game. I already play customise doll stuff (poupeegirl, ohmydollz, fashion boutique) I don't feel the need of dressing my pets. Also as an old times neopets player I don't think the main purpose of the game now is customize pets, there a lot of other suff to do, I prefer well drawed stuff and keep the melancholy of those early neopets days to a paper doll game. PD: I'm really upset cause they changed my pirate shoyru to a converted without asking me first, but i'm not a total customise hater. de_luxe
Maybe because its been almost a decade since I first started playing neopets. After all these years, so much has changed. I guess I dont want it to change. all this customization..I dont bother with it at all.
xSilverMistx
i dont really like the customization but i do like the different things for wearables in the nc mall however im not gonna spend real mony for a handfl of pixels...
jesse_rocket
Although all my pets are converted, I think for the most part that UC are better looking. I was thinking all like "Oh, mine weren't affected that badly", and then I looked at how Shoyrus used to look (it had been a long time and I'd forgotten) and I was like ZOMGWHATDIDTHEYDOTOMYCUTELITTLESHOYRUUU. I was vexed. (also, hehe, I play Poupeegirl too, I get so frustrated at how clunky the customization in Neopets is compared to Poupeegirl's)
SlightlyCautious
I can't stand customization. It just looks weird to me. Backgrounds are okay, but I don't really like any of the clothes. I went on a 2-year hiatus right about the time it was introduced, so i never got the chance to choose.

D: And it's also the reason why I don't have a shoyru anymore :P I also had a scorchio on that account but I can't even remember what changed since I don't think the difference was that big...o.0 I do remember that mutant and darigan were a lot cooler...but darigan was uglier back then o.0 Fairy shoyrus were also nicer and darigan shoyrus were a lot cooler too from what I remember...Where can you find pictures of the old UC pets? jesse_rocket
Where can you find pictures of the old UC pets? I use this site for reference on appearance quite a lot - http://www.neocolours.me.uk/index.php Go to any individual painted-pet page and at the bottom half will be the old UC graphics for them. siemis
The grey pets used to look soooo cute oÒ now the look just grey and unhappy << I always wanted a grey eyrie and a fairy xweetox... I think they should made an option to choose if you want it UC! Or a PB (but that wouldn't be affordable I think...)
Batman
I personally am sort of upset that they changed them. I loved my green quiggle way back when. Then they changed them and now I am not a big fan of quiggles. I don't have any UC at the moment but that's because I am saving for some day being able to get my dream pet a UC plushie draik. I am trying to get a great custom and then trade my way up for one. I know it will be hard but that is what I really want to do. Oh and in the process I also want an UC plushie shyoru, UC plushie schorcho, and an UC grey grundo. Those would be amazing. I wish they didn't switch them all over and gave every one and every pet the option of switching. I wouldn't have done it.

AAAH why did I click on the link ;_; Now the new pets look soo borring to me ,_, The painted once had so much more personality UC! I want UC pets ._. But who would give away his UC pet oO *cant think anybody would do that! * (and if so it wouldn't be affordable...)
jetaime
To be honest, none of my pets are customized.. there are just TOO many items and a lot of them are NC items that I refuse to pay for. I'm a bit of an old school player. I like my pets nice and plain! :)
Spritzie
I agree that most of the UC pets are awesome. (Like the Darigan, Faerie, etc) But there's definitely changes I think were for the better. I like the new Draiks tons better and I prefer the new Shoyrus, Kougras, and Lupes (My first pets) over the old ones. My other first pet, a Jubjub, I could go either way with. jubinator
UC or Converted - I can't decide! The converted ones I think, are cute, but the UC pets bring back memories of when I started playing Neopets (I wish I hadn't been so quick to click the "convert" button on my Coconut Jubjub when I started playing again a few years ago).
