grass_tiger Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 I'd like to know what you think of my new Avatar/Signature set. I just made it today. :)
grass_tiger Posted December 25, 2006 Author Posted December 25, 2006 Thanks! BTW, the dark area where I placed the chinese gliph was there in the original photo. I thought it looked a bit strange without something there. :)
Superfly Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 I did notice that, it does kinda pop out, becuase its like, what the heck are random chinese symbols doing in the middle of that picture...thanks for clearing that up, really GREAT JOB!
grass_tiger Posted December 25, 2006 Author Posted December 25, 2006 Of course, it isn't random, it means "Tiger". I wasn't feeling very original. :)
julie_kofoed1980 Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 Great job Leah :D I haven't got anything but paint, so I haven't felt like making a sig/avatar...
grass_tiger Posted December 26, 2006 Author Posted December 26, 2006 Thanks Julie. I understand, there isn't much that can be done with Paint.
webpixie Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 there isn't much that can be done with Paint. i completly disagree with this, yes you cant do the same types of things but you can make graphics and sigs and things in paint, its a perfect program for pixel art, just gotta play and practice with it. people give paint too little credit or example here is an old pixel drawing i have done in paint of course im no where near as good as some poeple, but then as i said previously just takesm ore practice.
grass_tiger Posted December 26, 2006 Author Posted December 26, 2006 I said "much" meaning not much variety. You can do great works of art with crayons, but they can't do what oil paints can do for variety of ability.

grass_tiger Posted December 27, 2006 Author Posted December 27, 2006 "Much" is not a term meaning inferior, nor is variety superior. Like I said, you can create a great work of art using crayons - seriously.
