Rae
Okay so me and my new lovely friends want to wear SUPER RIDICULOUSLY ugly grandpa sweaters and get our picture taken with Santa Claus at the mall. Does anyone know any stores that might sell some? I'm already looked at H&M and Forever 21, but they don't have as many this year as they did last year. Me and my one friend are girls, the other friend is a guy. In case you have no idea what they look like:
CAV of Gang Green
I have no idea where you can find something like that. But I would much rather enjoy Thanksgiving before I even talk about Christmas.
Masaryk
I would try going to a thrift store to look for one, especially since you really only want it for a lark. Or, maybe borrow one from someone?
Wembly
I second the thrift store idea. They are a wealth of ridiculousness and it will only cost you around 3 dollars instead of 40 dollars. But if you are looking to get a new one that is super ridiculous looking, I suggest you look in the women's section of a store in the mall like JC Penny's or Macy's or somewhere like Kohls in the section where there is clothing for older women. But I would much rather enjoy Thanksgiving before I even talk about Christmas. This is me planning for Christmas. Santa is in the mall already and I want to make sure I have an ugly sweater, not necessarily a Christmas one. Plus I don't celebrate Thanksgiving. I hate the food, and I think it's disgusting that families feel the need to be all fake and get together once a year to be "thankful" for each other while getting drunk on Cranberry sauce. Maybe not all families, but mine for sure. I'd rather be thankful everyday, skip the stupid football game, and go right into my Christmas sweater extravaganza. I will definitely check out the thrift stores! Thanks :) There's a Salvation Army around here somewhere too. Hopefully I can find the most ridiculous one ever hahaha

Christmas does that already. It's all about buying crap nowadays.
hrtbrk
We have an annual Ugly Sweater Party and on the invite we recommend Good Will, Value Village (not sure if that's in America) and Walmart! :D It's a lot of fun! Good luck finding some nasty looking sweaters :P
Rae
Christmas does that already. It's all about buying crap nowadays. Not to everyone. Thanksgiving has become all about eating and playing football. People just wait for Black Friday nowadays. OOH! A Ugly sweater party sounds like so much fun! Luciana
oh man I want the second one and the fourth one so much. Not even to wear ironically. They're really cute ): I'm also going to recommend looking around thrift shops. You'll find the craziest stuff there.
Kuroida
wait. Can't you just borrow your parent's sweaters? o.0 :P

You guys don't even want to KNOW what I found at the salvation army today -_- hahaha It was scary!! My parents don't own any crazy sweaters, but I also just moved to Florida from NY so I'm about 1400 miles away from any family so I don't have anyone to borrow from. Although I probably could make some phone calls to see if anyone can mail me one. There isn't too much of a selection here since the coldest it gets is like 50. Which is like, spring time weather where I'm originally from HAHA. I'm hoping I can find one online. And right?! The fourth sweater is adorable! Spritzie
I don't know if you have it there, but there's a store here that does Christmas type sweaters (They do all the seasons and such, so my mom calls it "The Teacher Store") It's called Christopher and Banks. But they can be fairly pricey.

Rae
Not to everyone. If you can generalize about people and holidays others can too. My first statement regarding it said that SOME people have turned it into that, my family included, which is why I"M not celebrating Thanksgiving nor do I like the holiday. I don't know if you have it there, but there's a store here that does Christmas type sweaters (They do all the seasons and such, so my mom calls it "The Teacher Store") It's called Christopher and Banks. But they can be fairly pricey. Haha!! They have that store in my mall back home. I never even gave it a second glance! I'll have to look and see if there's one down here. I still haven't even found a good mall to be at. There's a super rich/fancy one and then one with like, nothing in it. HAH. Although Technically I could buy one, put it over my shirt, take the picture with Santa in the mall, and take it back. Morals Schmorals ;) mathematically that's about +10 degrees C....WHERE THE HECK DO YOU LIVE?!?! o.o (this coming from the kid wearing sweat pants, a hoodie and wolly socks in my room while typing this...and it's STILL cold! >.< ) HAHAHA!! I moved from Albany, NY to Orlando, FL this past September. So I'm still not used to the weather almost never changing. Although now that I've been here for three months I actually felt a little chilly last night when it was 52 degrees. It was sooo weird. I literally used to get so excited if it was Winter up north and 50 something degrees. We'd wear short sleeves and jeans and frolic at the bus stop HAHA

Rae
Find Savers or Goodwill. They're great places to find that stuff! :D Great thank you!! I'm going to see if they have any of those around me. My dad said if I can't find any here he'll try to mail me one in time so at least I have a backup! It's slightly lame, but I am ridiculously excited HAHA
