Steam Shield is a Water Faerie ability that blocks all light icons. :yes: As for useful shields... well, I'm having a bit of trouble finding one as well. xD Those destroyers deal damage in a fairly wide icon range which I'm finding difficult to counter. The closest I've gotten to decently shielding against them is my Patched Magic Hat.

Balance Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 How often do you get bonuses after you've reached cap? I wasn't online enough to cap any during the "Into the Fray" event but I just capped the minion. Just curious about what the drop rate is approximately. I've won roughly 1000 fights after capping the first two opponents in this round (haven't had a shot at the others yet). I haven't kept exact count, but I've gotten around 20 codestones, ~15 faeries, ~10 dubloons, a bunch of minor battledome items (mostly low-end reflectors), and a few books. If I had to make a guess, I'd guess that the overall drop rate is around 10%, with the total drop rate of the good stuff being around 5%. That's only a guess, though. Once I cap the other two critters, I may start tracking the data more carefully to see if I can establish firmer numbers.

I'll have to buy or borrow a better weapon for the other dudes, but I'm just happy that I can help kill things. Are there any weapons or bombs better than the scarab ring that aren't outrageously inflated right now?
