Krawk petpet question

If you were to get a Krawk pet pet from the pet pet ray, but then paint it with a petpet paintbrush, could you then take it to the fungus cave and make it a Krawk, if you only have 3 pets?

 

If you just zapped and got a krawk, I know that wont transform. But if you paint it with a brush, I would think the coding would register it as a normal krawk pet pet.

 

I never got a krawk pet pet from the pet pet ray to try my theory, anyone have one they are willing to try it on?

You cannot paint petpets that have been zapped by the lab ray. :(

Really, I didn't know that! I dont know why TNT didn't allow that? Chances of zapping and getting a krawk are so slim as it is, if we did manage to get it they should let us make it a Krawk pet. And not able to paint zapped petpets, we can paint zapped pets!

 

They should make a more expensive version of the pet pet ray, that allows us to do these things. That really bugs me.

I wish it worked that way. A few months ago, the petpet lab zapped one of my petpets into a Blue Krawk. But the petpet Krawk is cute, so of course I kept it anyway.
