Shadaw the Rampage
I got all of the fearless deeds at the same time, it took a couple of tries but I really do believe it was the easiest way to do it. :) It took me a whole to notice she could only Shoot the way that her hand was pointing... Major Fail for me, As I was too afraid to get any close to her incase she shot at me  After I had collected all of the Artefacts I basically just circled around her for a while, making sure I stayed out of the path of her hand, Then she teleported away from me, and then I made a quick dash for the door. :) i spread mine out over three games and countless games {and yelling} inbettween trying to win. but when the prize shop opens and i just BARELY am able to afford the top prize i wont be kicking myself for not doing it properly. XD I'm having trouble getting the books, I found the Artefacts are easy to get but whenever I go to get the books I end up being Blasted by her D: I really hope you don't need to get the books in order to get points... livvy
I don't think you do; I think they're just bonus prizes. It's nice to get them, but not necessary.
Shadaw the Rampage
well they say right on them "bonus item" so its likly that they dont have plot relivence. and if they do ill be complaining the books should of been unique for the work in getting them -_-
Atta
Okay :) I've never actually been on Neopets during a Real Plot, So I have no idea What normally happens during them.
walshcaitlin
It's quite funny. I was getting frustrated and considered giving up. The next shot I got it. It just took me a half dozen tries or so. :(
Aviaticus
I can't seem to get the four glowing items AND the books. I've beaten the step of getting the four, but I'd like to get the bonus books. :3 Also, I got the proximity award, but I don't think I was right next to her; I think it might be because she nearly hit me with a spell. Shadaw the Rampage
you dont have to get all the bonus books at the same time. when you get one and escape you get to keep that book. rinse lather repeat till you get all of the bonus books. Slunktastic
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I found that one good strategy is to stay in place for a turn. If you are trapped in a section of the library and Xandra is nearby, make sure that you are not on the same row of flooring (so that she is unable to zap you). You can keep alternating between two spaces and/or click on yourself to stay in place until it is necessary to move out of her reach. If you keep doing this, she will eventually teleport to another part of the library and you can get out of that corner. I hope that's not too confusing :)

lere2001
I just tried that tactic and Xandra teleported herself finally! But to where?? to the square next to where she was -_-
Seliphra
I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell when she's about to fire a bolt off at you?
walshcaitlin
Feel guilty posting this here but jn has a chart of her moves that might be helpful... http://www.jellyneo.net/index.php?go=faeries_ruin&id=step01
claire__h
I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell when she's about to fire a bolt off at you? Someone earlier said she can only shoot in the direction she is facing.. didn't notice it myself.. Also, she can only shoot at you when you are directly in line with her - and in my case every time I was, she did!
Fableheart
I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell when she's about to fire a bolt off at you? When you are within two squares of her, she will 90% of the time fire a bolt or shout some wizardly gibberish (yes, I am aware that it is english, thank you very much). If you are within five squres of her horizantally or vertically, she will almost ALWAYS fire a bolt off at you. Hope I helped!
mairead123
I've found that the piles of rubble stop her too. She can't go through them.
Tyler.
wasn't too much trouble it was fun, better than the first step of AotA- by far
Fableheart
Speaking of which, she cant go through aftefacts, either, so yeah.. Also, this game is half strategy, so if you have a good strategy, you would't be wandering around aimlessly.
claire__h
Does anyone know how long usually between steps? I realise they're all different - but based on past plots etc?
Sakeru_Kyori
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE GOING TO THE LAST PAGE. IVE BEEN COMPILING THE TIPS AND TRICKS MENTIONED IN HERE. -tips & rules you can move diagonally if shes about to fire at you sidestep. if your far enough away from her you can just keep clicking the square your on to take no action. wait till she teleports. YOU CAN clear the rubble from the rubble spell she casts. but it takes you two full turns and you must be right next to it for it to work. the first round clears half the second round clears the other half. by the third round you can pass where it blocked. wish i knew that sooner. XD "Once you figure out what's safe and what's not, you'll get it. Oh, and she CAN shoot through objects, but only 3 or 4 spaces. She can shoot you all the way across the room if there's nothing in between though." - this quote is livvys The rules are YOU MUST LEAVE WITH ALL GREEN GLOWING ARTIFACTS TO GET THE BOOKS. theres several none glowing items that are bonus items. when you gnab all 4 artifacts and you get even one bonus book you get to keep that book. if you fail to get even one green glowing item YOU DO NOT get the bonus book. bonus books vanish alfter getting them and compleateing the mini game with all 4 relics. - how to unlock achievements - oooh shiny -> gnab the circular relic task at hand -> ONLY grab the green relics on the way out. any bonus items nullifys this. proximity warning -> i myself i didnt get this by being close to her. i beat the game twice and nabbed an extra two books on my way out. when more info becomes avalable ill share it. Thanks Rampage, this helped tons. But what if the picture next to the Task at Hand has a Red circle with a line through it? Does that mean I can't do that one anymore? Because I thought I had did that one the first time when I escaped with nothing but the artifacts but then I did it all again to get the books. Was I not supposed to get the artifacts at the same time Igot the books or what?
livvy
The circle-slash is part of the design. It's slashing through the books, indicating that you don't get the books to complete that task. :)

'cause I'm good if it they are. All of mine are lit up now ^__^ Yay for me.
livvy
Yup. If they all have color, you've completed them. (And don't worry, a lot of people have been concerned by the circle-slash on that one.)
