Mouseykins
So, I've decided to try my hand at drawing and enter my picture in the art gallery for the faerie festival. My question is this: I'm using photoshop elements 8.0 and does everything in my picture have to be hand drawn or can I use shapes and lines, and different brushes that I downloaded off the internet? I'm no the best at drawing but these tools make a difference.
tempdisplay
Of course you can use Tools and Shapes. As long as it's your work, which it is, you should be fine Good Luck getting in!

persephoniekali
Good Luck! I just entered for the first time too. I just drew by hand though -- don't have any software. Lucky! :D
Mouseykins
I wish you luck! If you need or want to try a software program you can try artweaver its free or you can download a trial version of photoshop and probably others that are popular too. Riverus
Does anyone know how far in advance you should submit your picture? I have one I'd like to submit for Korbat Day.
Mouseykins
Keep checking the page and up top they have scrolling text that tells you all the upcoming events so I would submit it then when you see korbat day. Although you could send it in anytime and you might get published before korbat day or you could do both. Good luck with your submission, I didn't finish mine on time so I'm thinking of doing one for halloween, though I'm no good at spookyness in my art.
