So, I'm not familiar with the BC. What are the tough neopets to win and which ones tend to be easier?

Pretty much popular species = hard category. The traditional hard ones are Lupe, Aisha and Xweetok but the standard of the art isn't usually so high in them; they are just hard because so many people enter and advertising-wise people have often already used their vote, etc. Draik and Krawk are the hard two art-wise, usually. I think because if people apply for one of those species then art on a petpage app is often such a big part of it.

 

Easy species are the less popular ones... like Elephante, Lutari, Skeith, Nimmo, etc... where its not uncommon to only have 3 entries and everyone who enters gets a trophy regardless of advertising or votes xD Lutari picked up a lot after TNT released them for creation last year but its slowed again since they weren't released this year.
