Wrongfully FROZEN

A few days I ago, I tried to log into my account and it said I've been FROZEN for trying to sell accounts or neopets for Neopoints. The problem is, I didn't do any of that AT ALL. I've been working on that account for almost seven years, FINALLY found and bought the Baby Bruce Plushie I've coveted for 5+ years, and have several pets I'd never, ever want to lose. In short: I'd never put that account in danger by cheating in any way.

 

A few days before I got frozen, I noticed I had been logged out of my account. Is it possible I got CG'd? I do a lot of SSW sniping and going into various shops, so that's the only thing I can think of. I play Neopets on my own personal laptop, and no one else knows the password.

 

Anyway, I've put in requests through the regular Frozen Accounts form, as well as the Premium one... do you guys think I have a chance of getting it back, or are they going to totally screw me over? I'm so sooo mad... I always thought if people were frozen, there was probably a real reason, but now I know that is not the case. Ugh, so disappointed. I do know I'm done with Neopets if they don't fix this.

If you were indeed CGd then you may get the account back. The way you are telling us the story I'd say you get the account back too. Lets hope TNT will be kind to you.

You are sure that you haven't done anything remotely wrong, right? If you are truly sure then you've got CGd. Yous hould get your account back so send in the forms, and check your emails and Neopets all the time incase you do get it back.

Yeah, I seriously 100% did nothing wrong. There's no way I'd try to sell my account or Neopets, and even aside from what they have accused me of, I haven't done anything else freezable. I'm just frustrated because I hear that sometimes it takes a really long time to get the account back. I was hoping to hear back in a few days, so I wouldn't even have to cancel my Premium, but I guess I'll do that if I don't hear back from them soon. Thanks for the reassurance, though :)

I'm really sorry to hear that your accounts have been frozen. It does really sound like you may have been CGed. It's good that you have already submitted the Account Frozen form. I know that it will be really hard waiting for TNT to get back to you.

 

This happened to me last year. It only took a little over a week for me to get my account back, but it might take a little longer right now, since there's a high volume of CGing happening right now. Just keep your fingers crossed and hope that one of the nicer staff members is assigned to your ticket. Otherwise, you might have to try filling out the form again. I'm sure that being a Premium member will help you too.

Wow, I'm really sorry for you. o_O It sure does seem like you got CGed. TNT should give you your account back, but I really dont know. :mellow: Good luck!

Well, as I said, it's making me feel better to hear the encouraging stories, etc. from you guys. I did submit the frozen account form for Premium users, after I had filled out the regular one. I also emailed a staff member whose address I had gotten a while back, although that probably won't make much difference. I figured I'd try it anyway, since I know she at least responds. Now I just have to wait and hope one of those avenues works out.
