Trading NC items

A girl just offered to trade an NC item for the Wig With Curlers (NC item) on my Kacheek. Are you allowed to trade NC items?

I could be wrong, but I think you need a gift box to put it in to transfer it.

 

I think that trading's ok as long as neopoints aren't involved.

Trading NC items for other NC items is completely ok. Unfortunately, you need gift boxes to trade. :-(

Yes NC items for other NC items is perfectly fine. People are even allowed to do NC customs, you should however only trade NC with NC, and not for neopoints or even worse, neopets. They want to keep the two currencies NC and NP separated because otherwise it would be an unfair business (real money and fake money).

 

So as long as it's NC for NC, not an issue! :)

This is actually a gray area. TNT only wants you to "gift" items to others. Through various editorials, they basically say that yes you can "gift" [or "trade"] but if you get scammed, they won't reimburse you, so to do it at your own risk.

10. Can I sell and/or trade JubJub Power Bounce prizes?

 

No, all of the JubJub Power Bounce prizes are Neocash items, so you may not sell or trade them for Neopoints, Neopoint items, Neocash, or any other currency. However, you may gift them for other Neocash items using NC Gift Boxes.

It's annoying. They should just make a safe trading system like the trading post except with NC items. :I
