Worm Quest

I've collected all worms BUT the black one and it seems no matter what time I can never find the worm there at all. It's been several weeks, three or four at the most, since i found the 9th one but I can't find any others. Does anyone know about this or have any tips to give? I've gotten a few on my forums on neopets but I'm hoping for a broader scope.

I recommend writing down the times you find your worms. This will have to wait, until you find the black though. What I did, was check every 5 minutes (So check at say, 10:15am, 10:20am, 10:25... etc.) when you're online. When you find it, write it down. Makes notes of when you find all the worms, so it will be easier.

 

I actually have a doc on my computer that looks roughly like this:

 

Black worm: 8:35am, x:xxam, x:xxpm

Blue worm : 7:10am , x:xxam, x:xxpm

Green worm: 7:25am, x:xxam, x:xxpm

 

and on.

 

That way, I know when I can find what. It will take time. The black one held me up for a week. Until my Blue one got stolen. I went to see if I could get it again, and there was the black. So I made notes.

 

Now, I can get all but black and rainbow from 6:00am - 6:30am. Then I get black at 8:35, rainbow at 9:50. So in a matter of a few hours, I have all of them.

 

It takes time to get the times mapped out, but after you do, it's so much easier to get them. And it's not stressful.

That will be frustrating. Should I check every five minutes or around the time that i found the last worms? Would giving up one of my worms help me? o.O maybe I should start over...

Getting rid of the worms you've already found will just mean you'll have to find the times for them again before you can make moltite. Keep the ones you have, be patient for the missing one (rainbow took me forever), and write down the time when you do find it. When you start for the 2nd time be sure to write down all the times!
