I missed him because I thought the boards that people were posting were fakes. TNT had said in the NT Editorial that Sid would only ever appear during their normal working hours, which don't usually include weekends. So I didn't believe the boards. By the time I realized that it was true, it was too late.

Yes that's right... He only appears like 3 or 4 times a year for 5-10 minutes on that day, so the chance of catching him is very small unless you are with communities like this.

That's true. I thought I'd never get it since they don't work while I am awake, and had only released him while I was asleep. I wonder why they released him today.

I didn't realize he was so hard to find. (On the Neoboards, they're saying he only appears once a year.) If I hadn't gone to grab a Starbucks, I would have been here. I just hope the next time he appears, whenever that may be, that I'm online.

 

On average, how long does he stay around? I hope he's not as bad as Tarla has been. :laughingsmiley:

You guys should get twitter (and echofon). I would've missed Sid if it wasn't for me stalking Jellyneo for the Tarla event. I think sid is a heck lot worse than tarla!!

oh, and I think he only stays around for a short while. Like 10-20 mins??

Yes, I saw him in the battledome, went to heal my pet, got back and he was gone :grrr:. I also saw on the boards if you want the avvie, make sure you fight with your active, so next time he is here you'll know :graduated:

I actually do have a myspace, but I have a private profile with only one person on there. (My friend from Denver, before I moved back to the city I was born in.) The rest are musicians so I can keep up with their tours. But I haven't logged into my account in probably... 8-9 months. And I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I don't like twitter or myspace, but I do have a facebook. I started when it was just college students and before it got totally crazy. I don't like it anymore because of all the privacy settings changes and the applications. I might delete everything on my profile and just have enough for people to contact me (a lot of my friends are hard to contact otherwise, with all the moving and school changes people seem in have in their early twenties). I signed up for twitter solely to get Tarla updates. :laughingsmiley:

 

I was eating lunch and took a break from Tarla spotting, so I totally missed Sid! Ah well. Guess I'll have to wait a while for that avatar.

I'm so glad I actually managed to get him :) A good side effect from Tarla, otherwise I wouldn't have been getting the alerts .. I feel lucky :)

It was because of Tarla that I heard about Sid too. I'm still kicking myself for missing him. I guess I should have checked, even if I thought the boards were fakes, but I was kind of busy at the time. Stupid me.

I think he shows up more than that, but it's random. and not very often...
