Batman
Jellyneo (i don't like referencing another site :sad01_anim: but oh well) has a twitter page that they use to update everyone as to tarlas whereabouts. If you go to their site here you can subscribe to it and have it sent to your phone. There are no fees on jellyneos end but if you don't have unlimited texting i would be careful. It has allowed me to find her every time today even though i have been at my computer for maybe an hour. So its another option to searching the boards. IrishLiz
Do you know if there's a way to unsubscribe? I have unlimited texting, but I would probably want to unsubscribe after the event is over. It could get annoying to keep getting texts all the time.
Batman
I am sure if you click on the phone again on that page it will stop sending them. At least that is what i am guessing/hoping
IrishLiz
Uh, what do you mean about clicking on the phone? To sign up for SMS text alerts you send a text to a number. I'm just wondering if there's a "stop following" option, haha. :laughingsmiley: I've never used Twitter.
Wembly
They're talking about if you were using twitter online with a username, your account shows you everyone you are following and if you mouse over the person you are following if you click the little phone it sends texts updates to your phone and then clicking it again turns sms updates off for that person. If you just signed up using your phone and don't have a username, texing STOP, QUIT, End, Cancel, Arret or Unsubscribe will turn ALL phone notifications off. Or if you just want to stop the updates for a while like at night you can text OFF to the number and then ON when you want start them again. I think I'm going to try using Yoono for now instead of text updates.
Mouseykins
This would be handy for me as I'm not always on my computer as I share it with my bf until he gets his fixed (which I hope is soon lol) But I don't use twitter so just have to rely on TDN forums which haven't let me down! :)
