How many avatars?

Recommended Posts

Around 350/360 I believe. Its great when you start collecting avatars because the first 150 or so go so quickly, but after that its all gaming avatars, seasonal avatars (so, for example, you'll have to wait a year for the valentines day one...), pet and petpet avatars and really expensive avatars (like Adam, which is a few million at least...)

But good luck :D The lending scheme here is really really ace so I'd really recomend that to help with some of the item based ones (so you don't have to worry about buying all the items and then selling them on again). You might have to get your post count up a little but thats easy when you start trying :)

It's called the "Number Six" avatar. This is it's description:

View the About Us page while carrying exactly the same number of Neopoints on hand as it shows the current asparagus should cost per kilogram. Whilst usually very expensive, it's down about 1.3 million (or more) from when it used to be Adam. Check Neoboards for info.

And right now, it's running over 10 million.

Thanks!

That makes sense :)

Although.. I wouldn't say it's "expensive" - at least you get to keep your NPs!!

It's more of an "I'm going to force you to SAVE! mmmwaahahaha" kinda avatar ;)

fact

also, though, if you think about how the higher ends of the Neopian economy function.... that's merely the price of mid-level items! the best battledome weapons, the pricy stamps, think about that-there are people who have huge collections of 10milNP items. it's mindblowing!

Yeah but, :P In my head they don't exist... lol. I'm going to get the Number Six avatar and MAGICALLY I'll get a bony Garral Club in a random event, and win a super attack pea from the wishing well :P

OOH! I like this plan! Man, I wish I had thought of that! It makes so much sense.

I'm going to start working that myself, right away! :P

Of course, once I get said SuAP and the avatar, I'm totally donating it to TDNALP. hoo-ah.

The Adam/Number Six avatar changes every day. It can be as low as 5 million NPs or as high as 10 million NPs.

My advice (and this is what I did) is to save and just wait for it to be low. I got it when it was around in the 5 million.

That's what I'm going to do. I'm on schedule to have 5 million by the end of April, so I'm going to bookmark the page, and check every.single.day until it's in the range of what I have.

I like your enthusiasm and your willingness to donate it to the ALP!! I'll cross my fingers for you to win it through the wishing well so that later I can borrow it from ALP :laughingsmiley:

I'm going to check when I get around 5 million too... I think the end of April is a little optimistic for me, but I'm getting there!

Good luck!

Thank you. You too. I started the whole 8-scores thing, with just under 3.1 million. I'm just short of 3.9 million now. If I work hard enough, I should have 4m by sometime Thursday. I'm slaving away at games now.

So how exactly do you make so much money?

There are so many ways of making money.

I make at least 10k a day by just doing my dailies. In the Favorite Games section, I play: Fashion Fever, Kass Basher and Splat a sloth. Also I usually play the Petpetpark Sponsor Games, which are real easy money.

All these games take little time and they earn some money at least, especially if you play them 8 times a day.

Next to that I'm also into restocking (Buying items for a cheap price from a store, then selling it for a higher price in my own shop), it earns great profit.

Some people like the stock market, but personally I only invested in that to get the avatar. :)

I'm at 3.3 million, but I haven't had a lot of time to take advantage of the games thing during the week that much (been working lots o_O). I'm also trying to clear out some of the massive inventory in my SDB, and hoping that helps. I'll have to do more games this weekend. I haven't set a goal time... maybe I should do that!

I found kissmoto's petpage really handy, because it lists the games she finds easiest to earn a lot of neopoints in a short space of time, in the order she finds them. That includes up to date sponser games, which are easy peasy, espically during this 8x a day thing!

Remember though, they don't give neopoints out on cornflake packets :P You still have to work for them ;)
