Hey, I was wondering, how do you find out the cheat codes? Do you just, like, type in stuff related to the game, or do you do high-tech XML research? Don't worry, I won't report it to TNT.

Don't worry, these codes are legal :D. I think that it is more like trial and error than high-tech software :).

Also, the Wheel of Knowledge gives out a few codes, but nowhere near all of them.

Yeah, I always wondered how people find the codes out. I never could! I wish there was a cheat for keyquest, that would be cool.

Nah, if there was a Key Quest cheat that wouldn't really be fair imo. It's a multiplayer game so it'd be kind of lame ;p.

 

And I always wondered that as well! So, TND, how DO you get all those cheats? :P

For KQ, I meant 1 cheat where you can only use it once per game. Something like automatically gain a powerup or roll six on the die kind of thing.

A long long time ago, when neopets had a magazine (do they still do their magazine?) They used to provide a small list of cheat codes each issue. I was so excited as a child cause I could earn NPs easier xD

It turns up the legit "cheat" codes for most, if not all, flash games.

Usually... stalking the Neoboards when we write a guide for a new game. Or existing petpages listing codes... I've never found any codes myself.

I'm not sure, I would agree with most of you: trial and error. For example, in Dice Escape: a cheatcode is "moretimeruki." Maybe most of the cheat codes have something to do with the game itself.

Not really. For example, the code for The Buzzer Game is "cheese". It's like. . . where did that come from? o_O

The cheats won't be reported. Most of theme were made by TNT themselves (look at the Wheel of Knowlage).

Well thats what the power ups are for. in replace of cheat codes. ;)
