Koi Adoptables!

So I've finally gotten my lazy behind off to doing some 'proper' art. Clean lines and colouring I guess. @_@. I was inspired by some of the really well made art pages as well as pet pages that I've decided to do up Meia's pet page... Soon. XD. I wanted an adoptables section so that's where this comes in.

Soooo... Here's the plain basic completed base. I think it's complete at least XD. I was on the Beauty Contest boards (stalking threads for free art requests XD) and decided to post the original idea up. Most commented that it was fine so this is probably going to be the final design, I think. The lineart's not the best I'll have to admit but hey, I hardly do such clean linearts XD.

 

Feedback will be appreciated and so will links to other Koi adoptable pages! Even if I don't use some of the former for this set of adoptables, I might need it for my future sets :). I also want to know if I should keep the anime blush there or should I remove it? =/

 

I'll probably edit this post if I get the first basic Koi up :D.

Well I don't have any technical opinions (being a crappy artist and all), but that is some amazing work! The look and feel is very unique and... uh... arty. *is suffering from chronic lack of technical adjectives* :P

Awww thanks for all the kind words! :D It's not too difficult to do up the other basic/block Koi colours so hopefully I'll get to post the link up to the adoption page when I get more done!

Ah thanks guys :D Progress is slow because of other RL stuff and me planning on doing up an app (first ever app o_O;;)

 

 

The 4 most basic colours are up! Now I just need to figure out how to do the more elaborate ones o_O; Colours are all from the original Koi drawn by Neopets.

That's amazing! I'm always so jealous of people who can draw.

 

I like the style; you can recognize it's a Koi, but it's very different from the actual Neopets version.

 

Conclusion: awesome.
