kikaown
I got 100% on my Mandarin test, but the funny thing is that I made at least 4 separate mistakes, but completely forgetting how to write "I'm sorry" in Chinese. The teacher still gave me full credit for using Pinyin rather than Hanzi. I'm not going to argue it, though. I expected to fail the test completely. I can speak fluent (unaccented) Cantonese, but I can't write much. -_-
.Dan.
You're Asian? Never knew that....it's hard to learn how to write the characters of Mandarin and Cantonese.Apparently you need to know about 1500 characters to read a newspaper in a Chinese language.
