Has anyone else visited recently and gotten this?

I haven't seen any reports about it (nor threads), so I thought I'd inquire. Maybe a new plot set up? *crosses fingers*

That is just one of two messages you'll receive after visiting the meteor. It just indicates that there is nothing more to be found on the page and you should return to it tomorrow for another chance to receive an item. So no, it really is not all that special. :(

I've never seen it before either. I guess we'll have to be a bit more patient for a new plot.

hmm.. i dont really go to the meteors that often anymore. there's no avatar and it seems to me the prizes arent all that worth it .. lol wishful thinking about the plot :P

I was actually think about starting a topic like this as well haha. I've gotten that message yesterday and today but had never seen it before now so I was confused.

I've gotten this a few times, and I haven't been to the meteor in months. It has been around quite a while. I think it's just supposed to be a random scientist trying to study the meteor. Unfortunately not a new plot device!

The meteor hasn't worked for me for more than a week now, and I used to visit it daily. Now, I usually get: "The meteor has gotten very very hot. Careful, you might get burned." Sometimes I get the angry scientist, though. Previously, I had only seen those messages if I tried to visit the meteor more often than once per hour. I thought it might be a cookie problem, but I cleared my cookies and it still happens. I also thought that TNT might be scrapping the meteor since introducing TMBGPOP, but some of you are still able to get stuff from the metoer. I'm very confused.

Same here; I haven't been able to do anything with the meteor for days. I wonder what this means, if it's such a trend? If it's a plot, I'll squee. XD

ya that ones nothing new... I keeep getting "The meteor has gotten very very hot. Careful, you might get burned." ... sooo annoying! :(
