bears54fan
While I am in the middle of playing neo games, the advertisements on the borders change, and while it does that, it interrupts game play. Down at the booton of the screen, I can see a different address bar changing to go along with the ad, but I don't have time to copy it. This has just started happening within the last couple of weeks. Any suggestions?
Viridian
My suggestion is to get an adblocker. I know how annoying those ads can be during gameplay. If you want more information just say so :)
bears54fan
I just followed TDN's article on doing the adblocker. I will see if that helped and report back. Thanks!
Viridian
Of course :) Hopefully it works out for you better that way :D

Viridian
Well there is one program, I forgot how it's called though. You should try to look it up in google! It's more than just an adblocker though..
bears54fan
TDN has tutorials for IE, Firefox, and Opera. Here is the link for IE: http://www.thedailyneopets.com/articles/block-ads-ie/
stephie23
oooh thank you very much. If I can get an ad blocker for my IE that would be splendiforous! :)
antiaircraft
As the writer of TDN's aforementioned tutorials, I'd just like to add that we'd appreciate being notified of any issues with those guides.
linda
Yeah, use adblocker. :/ It doesn't happen to me, but the clicking sound gets really annoying.
bears54fan
So, I followed TDN's tutorial yesterday, and it worked just fine. I shut my computer down last night, and now, it is like i didn't do a thing yesterday. It doesn't even look like IE7Pro installed??? What now??? Cassie
I would say redo the tutorial, that makes the most sense to me, but I never did the tutorial so I wouldn't know what it takes to do that
Viridian
Yea just check your installed programs list to see if it's there, or try to draw in your browser by holding the right mouse button... If not! Then just re-install it. Not sure what would have happened with it since it works just fine on my side. :)
antiaircraft
Quite frankly, the IE7Pro issue seems just plain... weird. I'll investigate it further if I can reproduce it.
bears54fan
GRRRR!!! I have followed the tutorial every day, and every day, I have to redo all of it!!! WHy is it not saving my changes??? I have Windows Vista, and am using IE8
stephie23
I find the same thing happens. I think it might have to do with my cookie deleter program? I duno .. :(
bears54fan
AHHH. That is a good thought! I bet that is what it is! But, I don't want to change my cookies! This interrupting my games has just recently started, it never used to do that, and I don't think I have changed any of the settings on my computer since this has started! bears54fan
Uh-oh! I hope I didn't jinx you! LOL! Yes, it is REALLY annoying while playing several of the games! I haven't turned my computer off in a couple of days, so I haven't had any set backs...yet :D
antiaircraft
Ah, so you're using IE8! That's one step closer to solving the issue: the changelog for the latest release of IE7Pro (2.4.7, from just a few days ago), lists one of the bugs fixed as an IE8 startup issue. You might want to try the newest version to see if it fixes your problem.
