This is the new riddle:

Xavier was going to the casino. His friend, Rex, gave him £100. He asked him to place it on Red 13 at the roulette table. He was feeling very luck, and thought he would win. How much would Rex win if he won his bet?

Yeah, it's his son. It really hurts your head!

Dillon if you needed to try not to copy then you didn't really need to post at all lol

I know the answer to this one, there was a similar question at a quiz night I went to last week, but I won't say becasue I got the last one :P

Lol, no, go ahead! I had no idea, I don't gamble. :) My auntie had an old roulette game thing.

Yes! Very smart. It's always called Black 13 for some reason.

For this you need to know about. .stuff.

Fred ran a flag making business. Things were looking bleak when, out of the blue, someone called from the Paraguayan Embassy. They needed an urgent consignment of 1000 Paraguayan flags by the following week.

Fred got to work straight away. He got a picture of the current Paraguayan flag, got hold of the required cloth and he and his staff worked without stopping until the flags were dispatched. The business was saved, or so he thought.

Unfortunately, the Embassy refused to pay and returned them all. Fred has now lost his business, but why?

Yes, that's right. :) How did you know that?

A man falls 150 feet without a parachute. He flips upside down six times and lands safely on the ground. How does he do this?

Posted

i have changed my answer!i think its space mountain or its like the ride stratosphere(the one that goes really high then go down) but you flip 6 times.

Posted

I think I have it each of the six times he jumped a sum of 150 ft.

Posted

150 feet/6 = 25 feet. Falling 25 feet six times would still hurt. I have no idea what the answer is.

Posted

Not really AA. 25 feet when you flip is like 12.5 or less.

In order to answer this riddle, you would really have to look it up because it has many possible answers. Rollercoasters do not land on the ground. And the answer could also be an acrobat or a pro swimmer jumping off a diving board. I don't think a rollercoaster like that even exists.

I've heard a similar riddle. Sue me. *shrug*

I think the 'landing', in this riddle, refers to the bottom of the beginning 'fall'. Riddles involve power of interpretation, I suppose.

Posted

It all depends on how you interpret it so my answer could be considered kinda sorta correct.

Uh, yeah, I guess. The answer to that was rollercoaster, but I guess an acrobat or a diver would be right as well. Sorry this is a bit late, I was out all day.

Old Mr. Tidy was found dead in his study by Mr. Fiend. Mr. Fiend recounted his dismal discovery to the police. "I was walking by Mr. Tidy's house when I thought I would just pop in for a visit. I noticed his study light was on and I decided to peek in from the outside to see if he was in there. There was frost on the window, so I had to wipe it away to see inside. That is when I saw his body. So I kicked in the front door to confirm my suspicions of foul play. I called the police immediately afterward." The officer immediately arrested Mr. Fiend for the murder of Mr. Tidy. How did he know Mr. Fiend was lying?

Yup, that's true, unless you're in a place with a tropical climate like Malaysia.
