Izzy ♥
Um, not really sure, but - it it a riddle?
Ellie_Penguin
is it a "joke"?
Myriad
Yeah it is. :) This one is really good and tricky!! You will know that I am coming From the jingle of my bell, But exactly who I am is not an easy thing to tell. Children, they adore me for they find me jolly, but I do not see them when the halls are decked with holly. My job often leaves me frozen, I am a man that all should know, But I do not do business in times of sleet or ice or snow. I travel much on business, But no reindeer haul me around, I do all my traveling firmly on the ground. I love the time of Christmas, But that's not my vocational season, And I assure that is because of a sound economic reason!
webpixie
the only thing i can think is ice cream truck driver
Justin
That sounds very reasonable! I just can't think of that. We have that kind of ice cream truck driver in Hong Kong also.
ishamaria
It's either that or santa claus
Izzy ♥
Well, its not Santa (I don't think anyway) because it says he's not pulled by reindeer... I'd have to go with ice cream trunk driver, actually. It fits :D
webpixie
theres lots of things in there that say its not santa but I do not see them when the halls are decked with holly. But I do not do business in times of sleet or ice or snow. But no reindeer haul me around, I do all my traveling firmly on the ground. I love the time of Christmas, But that's not my vocational season, And I assure that is because of a sound economic reason!
Izzy ♥
Yeah, I know but I was typing that just before I had to run to a lecture so I didn't have time to type/copy them all XD
Myriad
Oh, okay. And yeah, it's an ice-cream driver dude. I thought that one was kinda hard! Eagle-eye Ixolite, the world famous dart player, was at an exhibition match and was showing off to the audience. "I can throw a dart and it will hit the board anywhere I want" he cried. "Where on the board shall I put my next dart?" he asked the crowd. A small boy came up to Eagle-Eye and passed him a slip of paper. Eagle-eye, who liked a rebus, took one look at the note, threw his head back and laughed, then threw the dart. Where did it land? This is what was on the note: Perfume Bottle R.I.P

Ellie_Penguin
hmm okay this one is hard also o_O. Okay well R.I.P.= death or dead right and perfume bottle hmmm okay so options. Let's see: Perfume Bottle: -if you break it, well the pieces go all over the place -if it isn't empty, what's inside will spread around the place. ugh this hard, if it breaks into pieces maybe that means he hit around the target? a perfume gives a good odor, fragance hmm synonyms for fragance: fragrance, aroma, bouquet, perfume, redolence, scent dead aroma? no that doesnt make sense. Well perfume that can't be now can i XD. Dead bouquet? Redolence lol never heard that one before. Scent...maybe dead scene? So it could've landed on a bouquet or at some scene? EDIT: he said somewhere in the board so okay. hmmm
webpixie
well your on the right track... my guess is youll be the only one to get it without cheating, lol
Ellie_Penguin
I'm guessing it has something to do with either bouquet or scent. But bouquet doesn't make much sense so Scent? Dead Scent? lol this is hard. I'm guessing its the bullseye because of "dead" as in you "killed" the game, you beat the game. So maybe Perfume Bottle represents the whole board? Myriad
No guys, It means 'where did it land on the dartboard' so like, the outside, on the 2nd ring. .

Ellie_Penguin
i'm looking at definitions for perfumes LOL. Dead Scent Dead Fragance Dead Odor Dead Scented Fragance, glance? Scented= scene, cent, center ohhh i think i got it. Scented, u can get the word center from it so that's why it's bullseye!!
webpixie
you pretty much have the words..just gotta figure out how they relate... haha yea but its Scenter not scented... the bottle scents stuff so its a scenter..hardy har har.. lol
