Samuel Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Remember to change your clocks back 1 hour if you reside in the United States, Canada or the European Union, including the United Kingdom, to mark the end/start of Daylight Saving time, depending on your location! It means we're even closer to the big day - there's only 57 days until Christmas :)
Mini-Chan Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 we changed it last night! and i woke up like 20 min ago, i woke up an hour earlier than later! xD CHRISTMAS!!! YAYYYYY
Samuel Posted October 29, 2006 Author Posted October 29, 2006 Yeah, it was yesterday, but we forgot to post. Still. Even for when y'all wake up :)
cloudedsunny Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Aussies too y'all!!! Does that mean we're in the European Union?! lol I almost panicked when my phone didn't match my computer clock and it was set as the alarm to wake me up for work! haha
Samuel Posted October 29, 2006 Author Posted October 29, 2006 Er, didnt you take your clocks back like 3 weeks ago? We're not just randomly reminding :P
Foxy! Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Ugh. I woke up today to a heart attack, thinking that I woke up at 10:00. Nope, it was 9:00. I fell out of bed, then remebered to change the flippin clock.
Matt Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 D'oh! :D I too was surprised to be up for such a long time and for it to only be 11am. I could've sworn I woke up an hour or so before. :D
Awesome_Paul Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Thanks Sam, Did it last night Was quite funny today though, Supervisor forgot to put her clocks back so she was meant to come in to talk to the Manager about the end of week sales at 8am, yet she came in at 7am. No-one changed the indoor stores clocks so she looked at those which said 8am, then wehn she went to the computer it said 7am, she was sooo annoyed! But im not counting down till Christmas just yet, 25 Days, 25 days to wait, Bwhahaa
Fishy_luff Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 No CHristmas for Fishy. I'm Jewish ;), so Hannukkah comes earlier! YESSSSSSSSSS Anyway, remember to change back yoru clocks. maryy_n3 Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Here, in Brazil, next week we will change our clocks for one hour more .. And it will only finish in March, I think ..
Clara Chong Lee Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 All this sounds really interesting. I should google on some search engines and find out more about this "daylight saving" ... thing. Too bad I don't live in these places, and time flies by as usual for me.
Izzy ♥ Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Now see daylight savings time was changed back here in NZ weeks ago... so for me your warning comes a bit late :D
Crusher Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 No daylight saving for me.. Time drifts on...
Natalie Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I woke up Sunday morning round 10 o'clock, and as I go downstairs, all the clocks say 9 o'clock. That's when I realized I forgot to change the clock in my room. He he he. Good thing time doesn't change on a school day. Otherwise I would have been really late.
Eragon Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Heh, daylight savings in New Zealand was over a month ago now.
