Mantis
I only have forty something games of yooyubal now, I am so bored with it now that I cant even ponder why or how people have gotten so many games in, Its kind of a fun game, but not really that fun that I would play it thousands of times... Batman
Well see i play all the games at the same time. I am not just playing only YYB for hours. I switch it up when i get bored of one of them.
heerozero
I tend to play Yooyuball in sets of 5 games, so I'll play maybe 10 or 15 games in one sitting, then I'll go take a break and watch TV or something. I agree that Yooyuball isn't terribly entertaining, but I'm motivated by reaching the highest level and getting a lot of points to spend at the end of the Cup. :) EDIT: Oh, also, I listen to music while I play. *listening to DragonForce at this very moment*
-Ryan
You just need something to motivate you. What I do is I make daily race boards and race my team-mates to see who can score around 300 goals first.
silverkittie999
The calculator is a great motivation tool. When I see how much I need to reach the next level drop (and get closer to the new shield) I tend to play more (plus, its good to have an obsessive personality :D ). nikxmarie
I really can't get into Yooyuball or Make Some Noise, so I just play Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown mostly. Since SSD can be played so quickly, I turn on my project playlist and I tell myself I'll do __ songs worth of SSD. I can usually do about 20 games per song. Especially SSD. Even one or two short songs help pass the time on that one.

I will admit that I really don't like the Altador Cup. I hate Yooyuball, and I don't find the other games to be fun enough to play past earning neopoints at them. I really like SSD, but not enough to play hundreds of games per day. I played enough games to get the avatar this year, and aside from earning a few neopoints every day, I won't be continuing to rack up my game counts or levels. Denisa
yeah..if you don't have a strong motivation..like ranking to a certain level...it can get boring really really fast.
Aminbel
This is my first cup and I really only like to play YYB but SSD isn't too bad either. Anyway, I play somewhere between 5-20 games a day. The days I'm doing 20 though I use the large pop out screen and then play other games or do other things between every few games. It makes it go a lot quicker and I'd probably do more than 20/day if I had extra time or less priorities right now.
Inquisitive
Well, because I post in the Neoboards. I see how motivated people are and how much they play and that keeps me moving. Also, this is my first AC and I hope to get really good prizes. I am all-star already but despite that, I will keep playing for the team. Remember, its team work, not solo. Also, people like Krawk Islander keep me going xD
Vampirate
I'll tell you my mega-super-win-strategy to making 1k+ msn per day.... *drum roll please* I watch TV when I play MSN :P

I'm with you Mantis. I mean I think YYB, MSN, & SSD are a lot of fun, and I would play the more if I had more time, but I hate SS! It drives me nuts. I usually play just enough games of all of them to make it to level one, so as not to totally embarrass myself, and after that any games I play are a bonus Although this year I have been trying to play shootout showdown as much as possible...I mean I have to defend V-pets undefeated streak! We should get some kind of bonus for that, if we are able to hold out. No one else is undefeated in any category. Tyrannia is the closest 18 in SS. tempdisplay
My counter says it all. I think I'm only going to get over 1000 in SSD but with my 50 YYB games per day I should get 1000 in that as well

Haha, I stopped playing the side games about a week ago. I figure I'll just focus on YYB until I get to 2000 games, then I'll play side games like mad. :P

I agree that they're all so boring after a little while, but imo msn is the easiest, cause even a trained monkey could do it :D *and my trained monkey is sleeping in his cage atm* ...it would just be great for motivation if we'd get np for each game (what's wrong with dreaming) we play... I'd have at least 4,4 mill earned just from msn õ.Õ
Coco
When I was new to YYB, it was still pretty exciting but once I got the hang of it, it got pretty boring because I just kept doing the same thing. XD What motivated me before was the avatar, after that... *shrugs*
Mantis
IF they offered Neopoints for every game I played, then I would totally play more, still not thousands of games though
Static
When I get really bored of Yooyuball (which is all I play) I score a goal each game and just move my character to the corner where the ball can't be reached and do my own stuff till 3 minutes is up. That's why I have played 148 but only scored 162 goals.
ashy4
I'm far from playing a thousand games of any of them, but what keeps me playing is the rank. I'm currently 18 games of YYB to get to my next rank (Rank 5, 11 away from my goal!.... Wooo......). I just play the other games until I get a reasonable amount of YYB games to play. Also, when I'm watching tv, I play SSD and MSN as many times as possible during commercials or during episodes of something I've seen before. Also.... I like to keep my scores even. So if I played one more game of YYB, I would play until I reached the next 130, or I would go up to the next hundred in MSN and SSD, just because those two are super easy to do so many in a short period of time. I'm pretty much the same way. Usually I'll keep count of how many games of YYB I've played in a sitting, but if I miscount and end up submitting 21 games instead of 20, I'll play 4 more game to bring it up to 25.
