incubabe490 Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 So today I went to play Qasalan Expellibox, as usual thinking "the damn scarab always falls to the opposite side anyway, this is pointless!"....But guess what? It actually landed right next to the prize! And you know what happened? My Neopet has become sick with Reptillioritus! First of all, I didn't know that there was a chance of my pet getting sick from playing Qasalan Expellibox... And second, JUST LAST WEEK my same pet randomly became sick with Reptillioritus. The cure, Cactopus Cream is a bit expensive too...sigh... I really just had to share my frustration... :sad01_anim: Has anyone actually won NC from playing Qasalan Expellibox? Do I just have some really bad luck, or do certain Neopets have a higher chance of getting sick? Is there a way that I can protect my pet from sicknesses? Quote
Xepha Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Yes I've won NC from it before (once) And you can either visit the healing spring to get a free cure (every 30min) OR feed your pet with say, poisonous jelly, until your pet catch a new disease, less expensive to cure. Quote

Antjie Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I've won money from Qasalan Expellibox many many times and been on dry streaks jsut as much, also won some other small stuff, but cant recall a name now. Never knew your pet could get sick though, but yeah, i never buy meds anyway, i jsut visit the healing springs often, i do that a few times in a day anyway so a few times more dont bother me :) Quote

Ususally, I just win small items or small amounts of neopoints, but my pet does get sick fairly often from this game. I usually keep visiting the Healing Springs until the annoying Healing Faerie makes her better. Of course, the Healing Faerie is usually pretty cheap with the full cures when I need one, but hands them out like candy when my pet isn't sick. Keep playing the Qasalan Expellibox, though. It's like playing any of the Wheel games, but free to play! Quote
