Noog Posted May 20, 2009 Share Posted May 20, 2009 Does anyone know from experience the differences between a Nikon D40, D60, and D80? I'm going to buy one and I have no idea what the differences. The best advice I can give you is to go to a camera store (NOT Best Buy type places), explain that you're just starting to learn and what you're hoping to do (action, portraits, macro, snapshots etc). The salesman will tell you the differences (there aren't many between them, really, aside from megapixel size) and you can pick which one suits your needs the best.
