antiaircraft
Photoshop is still significantly superior to the GIMP - but it won't stay that way forever, considering the pace of GIMP development.
-Ryan
I save to paint and then download and make the real graphic on Photoshop.
FutureTXTurkey
I use a lot of different things because I find each software has something it's better at. Mostly I use a combination of MS Powerpoint and Paint.net, which is a pretty nifty piece of free software that is a lot like Photoshop, but a little more user friendly and takes up a lot less space on the compy. Gasol61
GIMP is my main program. I find it to be much less confusing that Photoshop, while still having most of the same tools. And if you are going to ask, yes I have used Photoshop.

celticheavens
I use Photoshop CS 4 =DDD Just got my hands on it ;). Used to be a JASC PSP and AS person wayyyy back. That was before I managed to convince my dad to get me the Photoshop CS (adobe CS ftw!) which I continued using till 3 months ago. Never learnt how to use most of the suite anyway (stares at the long list of programs), so maybe I'll start *pokes the new Fireworks CS4.* Meh. I love the functionality of pshop anyway! So it'll do for now. Isn't GIMP like the free version of pshop or something? @_@ Not sure but yeap.
