Trading post 800k+ items

Is there a way to actually just get full NP for an item that is worth more than 800k on the trading post? On the trading post it would typically be 800k np and other items that make up the rest. Is there another way of going about it so that I can just sell an item for the NP it's worth?

Yep there's another way. It's called Auctions... you can set the price you want for it, in pure NP. whee!

What a lot of people do is put the item in the trades for the full asking price (say, 1.6 million), then people who want to trade for it will neomail the user, then they can set up an auction, usually neofriends only.

At least, I think that's how it works. I don't use the trades very often. :mellow:

That's a popular way, but also, if the price is low enough, the user can offer 800k and then the rest of the price in ETS items, like Baby PBs. Most perfer pure through the auctions, but if they can't/don't want to set up a NF-only trade, it's a good alternative.
