Ian Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 If you didn't notice, we've ditched our old tdnAccount system have switched over to a new system -- myTDN! myTDN is the newest member feature from The Daily Neopets! All your accounts have been automatically switched to myTDN accounts. All new accounts will be myTDN accounts. Your myTDN account will give you access to ALL of The Daily Neopets user features including wishlists, checklists, counters, and more! If you don't have a myTDN account, get one today! Some of our new features include: A new myTDN drop down box at the top of the main site A simplified registration process All myTDN account management is now in our MAIN SITE layout (we trashed the old layout for the members area -- it was TOTALLY lame!). myTDN Portal - We have a brand new myTDN portal, which your one-stop page for everything TDN. It gives you an outlook on your member services and departments plus account settings. It even has a shiny slider thingy-ma-jig, which is why I love the new portal so much, haha! More features are coming to the myTDN portal shortly... promise! SITE THEMES - You can now set your own personal preference for our site theme. This is only available to myTDN members! Themes include: Valentine's Day, Halloween, Christmas, Birthday, and TDN Red. AVATARS ARE BACK - We used to have avatars. Then security was compromised, so we removed user avatars. Now, they are back and more secure than ever! Check it out! You can now update your email address too! D'oh! We forgot to include this feature in our original members area. Silly us, huh? Battlepedia wishlists are now OUT of BETA! Long overdue... :P In our activation emails for myTDN accounts, we say that if you don't activate your newly created account within 30 days after registration, it'll be automatically deleted from our systems. Well, we lied. No unactivated accounts have EVER been deleted... until now! We just cleared out 1500 unactivated accounts that were created greater than 30 days ago. So, activate your account if you want to keep it! Otherwise, it's toast after 30 days. Daily Dare counters are currently in testing by The Daily Neopets... here's a little sneek peek. As you could've guessed, these counters will ONLY be available to myTDN members... so hit the "Log In" or "Sign Up" button above! Enjoy! Quote
