What to do with a Christmas painted pet?

So I came across a Christmas painted Ogrin in the pound the other day, and while I really wanted a Grundo, I thought that coming across a painted pet was really lucky. Now, are there any avatars or benefits I can get from having one? IF not, I'll just adopt the Grundo I've been looking for all along.

No benifits at all, beside giving a home to a homeless pet :(

Yes, Thats pretty much the only benifit is to give it a home (Plus, as greedy as this sounds, christmas pets are abandon a lot, and are not soo common, but common enough to find in a pound surf a lot)

You could always trade with someone else for another pet. That way it'd have an owner still.
