Will changing my Petpet's name reset his age?

I want to change the name of my Petpets.

 

Two of my Petpets have Petpetpets attached to them. Will renaming the Petpets make the Petpetpets disappear (this is a thing I don't want to happen o_O )?

 

I'm kind of proud of my Petpets' ages (deep down in my heart I'm hoping for a PPL award). Will renaming the Petpets make their ages reset to 0 days/hours?

From what I've experienced, renaming your petpet will not change its age.

However I haven't got a petpetpet attached to my petpet so I'm not quite so sure about that problem.

Hopefully someone else can answer your question but I don't think a name of a petpet is something that TNT will be mean about seeing how you can change it whenever you want.

You're right. I just tested the name-change on a Petpet with no Petpetpet and nothing exploded or anything.

 

And you're right again. I should wait for somebody else with Petpetpet experience to give me a definite answer. I don't have a lot of NP in the bank, so I kind of don't want to risk my Petpetpets just yet.

It doesn't matter at all. I renamed the petpet attached to Mootix and the petpetpet is still there ;p

it will not do any of the following to your petpet..

 

Remove from Owner

 

Remove Petpetpet

 

Change Color

 

Restart Level/Time

 

In fact, Naming it does nothing but that.. giving it a name, and nothing more..
